Forest's chairman and his nototious match-fixing seem to have offered our mate Jon a retirement villa in Zakynthos.

Just kidding, I'm sure there won't be any dubious games involving them next season.

They are the midland’s Liverpool, get ready for the media obsession.

You got it on point. I can respect our rivalry but they act is if they were all high and mighty for what they did years ago lol... And they pretend that they're above a rivalry with us... When they're the ones creating it! Hopefully someone buys djed and brennan. (us)

Theyre ****ed anyways. 4 out of 11 of their starters today were loans.

Spence, Johnson, Garner will probably be elsewhere after the summer, potentially even more. There's a couple players in that side I could see being picked up by the likes of Brentford or Brighton. Could easily see them finish last.

They have a righteous chip on the shoulders. Starts with that no rivalry crap (yet we’re signing about us at Wembley). Why is the City Ground, one of the few grounds in this country I have heard racism and witnessed full on abuse?

Never heard that. What was it?

Of the teams that have been promoted, Forest home and away will at least mean two more games for the fans to get up for. It's good for midlands football as a whole... I wonder where Wes Morgan's loyalty will be next season!

They're going to have a storming start to the season, and by the World Cup break they'll be hovering around fourth place. The media will try and paint this as the best achievement in PL history.

There will be comparisons to their Clough days, our title win and the love in will be excruciating, until they fall away in 2023.

The thing is I don’t hate them because I consider them rivals, I hate them because they’re a bunch of horrible bastards.

They killed off any sense of rivalry when a large proportion of their support base nattered on and on about “not caring”, I don’t care what people say about secretly hating us, you won’t see any other ‘derby’ where one of the clubs’ supporters actively refuse to recognise a rivalry.

The days out will be enjoyable until Brendan inevitably treats it like Watford or Southampton and we get creamed.

If there was any local derby I’d want to play (although I still don’t want them to come up) it’d be Cov, their fans at least respect the rivalry.

True, people don’t like to accept it but it’ll never be a major rivalry for that reason alone, even if they’re “pretending” a lot of people act like it’s gospel when they say they don’t care so they won’t respect it regardless.

Seen it all berfore. They'll have a great season next season and then sink like a stone. Think Huddersfield , Sheff utd and Brentford next season.

Good to see we're calling them Notts Forest though. I've known Forest fans get really upset by that, for some reason.

So, have a heart Fox fans. Keep calling them Notts Forest (or just Notts).

NottsF usually works

I think that's what they call it now.
