If they win the final it might be the greatest managerial achievement I've seen in England. From 4th tier to the Prem in 5 years, with of all Cov's problems, would be insane.

Maybe I’ve done both of them wrong by driving or even being a bus willy puller but Boro was rough as **** and Sunderland is far with away fans in a bit of a shitty location.

I feel that way about Derby to be honest. Maybe it's an age thing. I either wasn't born or was too young to remember the big games against the Derby in the 90s. I was born a month after the 94 play-off final.

Age and place of birth perhaps. I'm not from Leicestershire, I have family members though who support Forest so they're the only ones I really want to see lose. Also because they're insufferable.

The late 90s East Midlands presence in the PL was pretty remarkable when you think about it.

What's even more remarkable is around the time you won the PL, we had just finished ground sharing with Northampton where 90% of fans boycotted and hundreds were watching from a hill outside the stadium and a year after we were relegated to League 2. 

 

The Stoke scenario for us is incredible. We beat them as a League 2 side in the FA Cup 3rd round when they were in the Premier League. Within 4 years we'd overtaken them in the Championship.

What’s with the random order and kick off times of the play off finals?

 

Im sure it’s usually been 3pm and usually going from League 2 on the Saturday to Championship finishing the weekend on Monday.

 

This year Championship, followed by League 2 then League 1 and at different times each day!

It's all scheduling really but I don't understand why League 1 is on the Monday rather than the Championship 

 

Today is so that they can show the Women's Super League final day at 2.30pm (Bundesliga too)

Tomorrow so they can have the PL final day at 4.30pm 

Monday, there is no other game.

Sky dictated times I suspect and they switched the Championship and League One  games too think because the Championship semi finals finished earlier ?

Why'd they flip the semis then?

 

Championship seemed normal but am sure there's not usually a week break between L1/L2 1st and 2nd legs
