KW in tights

Danny Kelly on Twitter: "Leicester icon. Keith Weller playing in tights. Possibly even "pantyhose". https://t.co/qe06RL7pTk" / Twitter

Of all the things you could have picked.............

I am not even questioning your integrity mate, it is just having a good memory has put you at risk of being cancelled and of being arrested for viewing internet porn

Not one that I saw personally but my older brother reliable informs me that he once saw Neil Lewis take a thrown-in and then just fall flat on his face.

Apparently he just laid there for a minute or so while the game carried on. Eventually another Leicester player picked him up.

Leeds away I believe.

Those Hungarian wingers that Holloway brought in. Both played a handful of matches and then disappeared, never to be seen or heard of again.

Both had good debuts vs Coventry though.

I would have thought that would put the average joe off porn ... or at least cross dressing porn 🙄

They did, but not too impressive after that.

Laczkó went on to play in Italy for a few years, namely with Sampdoria. Think they were Serie B at the time though.

He didn't run off the pitch, he tried to put a cross in and put it out for a throw in... on the near side of the pitch lol

"tried to put a cross in" is a flattering way to describe an attempted shot!

If not already mentioned, Garry Parker cheating (3.00) and subsequently ruining the UEFA career of that poor referee

I mean the ref had a decent acting career after this, Groundhog Day was a good watch

This is one I always have to challenge.

There's a fairly prevalent myth told surrounding this. The old 'And he never refereed a game in Europe again' sometimes with an added 'he was found guilty of corruption'.

It's absolute toss. He went on to manage in Europe the very next season in the very same competition. He was never a prolific European referee and only managed 2 more seasons of a game a piece in Europe but his career wasn't ended by that match. He just wasn't a regular European competition referee. He managed to referee in several European competitions but never really into the advanced stages - he only took charge as far as the UEFA Cup 3rd round or the 2nd Round of the Champions League - and his most prolific season was 3 European games in one season.

I mentioned it on the first page of the thread. Used to have the video clip saved on my phone as it was that bizarre.

I don't remember the goal but wasn't that around the time people were saying the new ground was cursed?.

edit just checked - November 9th 2003 to November 2nd 2004 - only two home wins versus Portsmouth may 8th 2004 & Sheff Utd 14th sept 2004.

Yep we were that bad.:D

I had a 'perfect' view of it. If it had been at the other end it'd have been a great header. lol On another note, Matt Heath is now 40 years old. That's depressing.
