Getting more and more who say I'm must be a glory fan and have only been following since 2014 lol

Just take it as a compliment, we're a team that people have now become jealous of. Supporting their local Club and usually one of the Red big six obviously just doesn't do it for them.

Leicester very popular in Zanzibar. Took a bunch of selfies with several somewhat confused locals in Leicester tops, plus 13 eluded my grasp! Classic bit of Vardy graffiti attached, taken in Stone Town.

Not sure that it records Millwall on a passport. P'raps it should so they know who are being let in.

Nope, always Kasper.

I speak to them quite a bit about Danish footballers, they are well aware he’s shite.

You didn't need to travel far for people to be unaware of LCFC. When we first moved to Northern Ireland I had great difficulty to explain where Leicester was, generally, I just agreed it was near Birmingham and despite us being very near Martin O'Neill's birthplace, that didn't help me get anyone to recognize LCFC.

Fast-forward to 2015/16 and the whole village wanted to talk LCFC with me. Apart from the Spurs fan in the village off-licence. He was less keen to chat after May 2nd lol

It still takes me by surprise when away on holiday around the world, when I say I'm from Leicester, people have heard of it and often gets a "Vardy" or "Champions" response.

The title win changed perceptions of us, it went from me explains to everyone who we are, and trying to describe where Leicester is in England. To everyone knowing who we are, I’ve even been called a glory supporter a couple of times 😂.

Standing with less than 10,000 at Filbert St all those years ago, I never imagined I could be called a glory supporter.

Do I count as a glory supporter since I only really seriously - (it's not like I didn't know who they were before then, lol) - started following them when they first won the play-offs to the then-FA Carling Premiership? :D  (Confession time: my first love sporting wise is tennis, thanks to my Mum, which was followed by the Tigers thanks to my dad, though I think City have since overtaken the Tigers on that list now :D

I should really wear my shirt next time I visit France, (whenever that'll be), just to see if I get any reactions...

Was in a bar in Tbilisi, Georgia, watching Leicester/Newcastle in the great escape year. 10 minutes into the game, a guy walks in a full leicester shirt and a city cap, and says in American accent not missed a goal yet. Turns out he supported city since the 1980s from Ohio and was in tbilisi for business. He sat with us, we got absolutely loaded and celebrating every goal with him it was like with a guy from my home town. He gave me his details, but was so wrecked on there local drink chacha I lost it, but always thought of him celebrating the title  in Ohio 😅

I live in Tbilisi and i thought you were talking about local Leicester fan. Football is very popular here but mostly big clubs from Spain, England and Italy are favorites

Not LCFC but my hitched ride stopped off at house in Toronto, `to stock up`.

The stocker uppers were convinced I was a cop and only calmed down when I told them my surname and that I was from Leicester, England.

They were convinced they knew my dad.....dont know if they were mental or my dad gottabout more than I thought.

LCFC......  there has been a massive difference since 2016, few non English speakers mishear Leicester City as Manchester City for example.

Sadly, the only local I ever saw in a proper 2017 Leicester shirt had the blankest `I dont understand this gringo face` I ever saw  when I told him I was from Leicester.

I reckon it was nicked, maybe I should have told him it was mine.

Nipped into the Foxes Arms in Alcudia yesterday. There was a Norwegian Leicester fan in there on the table behind. I was astounded by his knowledge of the club from top to bottom.

...did you recommend joining Foxestalk..!!!

Since our title win, we're better known.   And fans have been a bit more keen to "wear the shirt".

But I'm old school, and I used to love it when you'd see fans on your travels ... when we were s h i t.     eg I'm talking mid to late 2000's.

For a few years, I worked in some unglamorous Lancashire town, and we used to play football during our lunchtime breaks.    For the 5-a-sides most of us were wearing our team's shirts.  I had some retro City on ... probably my 1992 Bukta classic!

Anyway .... A few times, we'd pass by a posse of young school kids who were off to play football on a neighbouring park.   One young lad used to wear a Leicester shirt ... and once when he passed by me, I just gave him the thumbs up and said "good shirt".

In that 3 second passing of ships-in-the-night, his face lit up ... all that p i s s taking from Man Utd and Liverpool fans disappeared in a split second.   Still my favourite memory of seeing our shirt in a dim and distant place.

In Devon on my holidays. I wore the shirt on the steam train to Paignton. Ticket collector gave me grief, explaining he was a Bristol City supporter. I noted that Bristol City was literally our 2013-2014 squad, and he responded "Yeah, that's fair."

In Dartmouth today, I saw one other shirt and someone else shouted Blue Army at me...my guess that's just the Leicester fortnight in play.

My wife also noted that someone passing us told his partner "Look, I'm not saying a fcuking thing." But I missed it.

After we won the league cup my mrs who worked in the clubs ticket office was wearing a Coca Cola shirt with Leicester city champions on it. We were on safari in Kenya near Voi and had stopped at a gift shop. She swapped the shirt for 2 carved elephants with the owner.

Fk the Elephants....you tell her to Pack her trunk & her to get on the Next plane & fetch those Holy & honoured Shirts back...

Mmmppphh Elephants indeed...Not even Foxes..!!
