Maybe this, but Everton in place of Southampton in the relegation slot.

Seem to be a fair few on here who have them to go down (maybe more hope than expectation though?). Personally can't see Everton get that close again. Yes they aren't great but they will have enough. Probably finish 13th/14th.

Of course, nothing is certain in football!

I think the field will be much tougher for us this season than last. So getting Europe would require a very, very good season from us.

Top 1-4: Man City, Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal

8-10: West Ham, Us, Villa

11-14: Newcastle, Brighton, Fulham, Everton

15-17: Forest, Leeds, Brentford

This the same palace that got thrashed by United’s B team?

What makes you think that mate?

Wolves are rubbish, they won 3 out of their final 14 games, scoring 15 (including a 4-0 win against Watford) and letting in 24. Jimenez looks like he's nowhere near what he was unfortunately. They had the 4rd worst xG diff last season as well and they've not done anything significant in the market.

Vieira did a great job given the upheaval last season and they've added smartly to a young-ish squad, their underlying metrics were strong too. West Ham are in Europe in probably the worst season for it, we've not fixed our set piece issues and we'll still get some injuries.

Im not huge on the Man City to win the league predictions if im honest.

Yes, theyve got Haaland who is beastly.

But theyve lost three in my view excellent squad players at the very least in Jesus, Zinchenko and Sterling.

Theyve brought some quality in, Phillips i think is somewhat overrated, the youngster from River Plate is an unknown quantity and they could do more business.

I do think that competing on 4 fronts in this congested season with a thin squad wont be easy though, and I think Liverpool have got more options.

In terms of individual quality, im not going to argue Darwin Nunez is as good as Haaland and theyve lost Mane, but I do think Liverpool have the depth to win the Premier League this season

Stirling is shot.

Zinchenko is h6ood but not good enough for their mid field.

Man city will win it.

I don't think it's at all out of the question that Wolves go but it will be interesting to see how they do. Last season very much looked like a continuation of Nuno's ultra-defensive 5-4-1/5-3-2 but this pre-season they've been going 4 at the back and though they've not done much business, they've got Gibbs-White back after an impressive loan at Sheff Utd, Neto fit for the start of the season and potentially with Collins coming in an excuse to finally drop Coady.

Good lad! Glad to see you’ve critically analysed your original answer and come back with a logical one!

Liverpool losing Mane and replacing him with Nunez on the other hand... I think Liverpool will feel the effects and drop off a little

Liverpool replaced Mane with Luis Diaz last season, he plays on the left side where Mane always did until he moved more central in the second half of last season. They've now got Nunez and Jota for the central role with Salah you'd expect always on the right. Fabio Carvalho will be a star also.

Can’t see anything other than a close city V Liverpool title race again.
For 3rd & 4th spots it’s gonna be an interesting battle between arse & spuds.

5th and 6th will be manu and chelsea

7th/8th will be a continuous merry go round of us, villa, west ham and palace. Everyone else behind us maybe Brighton might pop up from time to time.

It's bizarre how many of you predict Palace in the European places. This team is the ghost team of the PL for ages now. It's like they're...nowhere. They play some games in the first weeks, they're 6th-7th, then they're 14th, after a while they're are 10th and it goes on and on. Even their fans are making jokes of the team. I know some fans personally, really likeable and down to earth.

They've recruited far better this summer than they have in the past 2-3 summers combined. They seem to actually have some direction under Vieira, as opposed to Hodgson signing ancient players for instance. Having said that, I think to be in European contention might be a step too far. But wouldn't surprise me if they had more consistency this season and perhaps 'challenged' for longer than just the start of the season.

Did you’re mum never threaten to wash your mouth out with soap!

Seriously I reluctantly agree that spurs have bought well and I expect them to do well but not win the league. similar for Arsenal. United have looked a different unit in pre season though. So,

Man City

Liverpool

Man United

Arsenal

Spurs

Chelsea

Leicester

Newcastle

West Ham

Palace

Villa

Wolves

Brighton

I expect it to be a similar season to the last one though with lots of teams taking points off each other.

Yes, I hate Spurs also. But I do think their signings have been top class. If they gel quickly I think they'll be hard to beat.

Man City and Liverpool will be to preoccupied with Europe Though City have Haaland who might score plenty and Liverpool don't have Mane which might hurt them.

I think Spurs have a great opportunity to slip in and win it.Conte is a top Manager and the strike force of Kane, Son and that new kid will score a hatfull.

The other surprise team might be Palace to do well, Though they lack the Goals which may hurt them.

Though I suspect there may be a few surprise signings before the Window closes.

I think palace will miss gallacher a bit and second season for Viera may be tougher. I agree also with what you say about spurs but I have an intense dislike for them to the extent I may need professional help. I think once he finds his feet Nunez will do well and carvallo might be a star. I’m surprised city let Jesus and zinchenko leave but they must still be favourites with the addition of Haaland. Arsenal (ick) have bought well in the right places and will push hard. United have looked much more together pre season and looks like ten hag has got hold of the dressing room and spirit. With that squad they really should be doing better. With pogba and potentially ronaldo going I think that will galvanise the club. Can’t make my mind up about whether Chelsea will kick on or continue their end of season malaise. Koulibaly is a good signing and I wouldn’t rule out them doing better along with newcastle. It’s going to be an interesting and entertaining season.
