If the club was aware of this all summer, it does seem poor that we didnt have a 3rd choice lined up. Sounds like we do but had to wait until Kasper's move was certain , now need to finalise and details for incoming. I took it as more "we know we are going for a 3rd choice rather than a 1st choice" but hopefully there are a few older heads that will bring the much needed experience in. Im going to have a shot in the dark, orjan Nyland. Purely because, he played well in the league cup semi against us, has experience in the prem and I believe brendan still has contacts at reading (he was there before his contract expired). Depends if we aim for someone to actually compete or a slightly experienced safety net.
