Being a poor manager/coach/Director of football, whatever, there is absolutely no excuse for appearing on a high profile subscription channel broadcast as a subject matter expert without first doing very basic research or preparation. 

 

The Sky production manager should be looking very closely at the appointment of 'experts' and whether their selection enhances the programmes credibility.

He’s not the only one tbh Danny Mills was saying similar along with a few other pundits . Because we said we needed to sell before we could buy they’ve  all took it as we got to sell all our key players as we’re in money trouble when in-fact we meant sell our squad players that aren’t up to it . It’s not just the pundits either I’ve seen loads of opposition fans saying stuff . We will struggle or we’re on the decline because we’ve signed no one . Even seen Newcastle fans shouted we had no ambition and we are a selling club . As others have said we also do better when everyone writes us off .

Tim Sherwood is on the shit list. Along with Chris Sutton. We just aren't very liked are we. Since winning the league and upsetting the apple cart we have created much attention like this.

 

It will give the players the motivation they need to have a good season.

 

If I was Brendan, I'd be playing all the videos and showing the quotes to the players. Use it to our advantage.

Talking about Newcastle and Maddison, saying Maddison  seeing all the players leaving leicester (we have only had one player leave so far you plank) that he might want to go to Newcastle, and referred to Leicester being a sinking ship.  They are like sheep these pundits and media types, just going with the narrative that they want to go with.  I was a bit disappointed in Natalie Sawyer, she's always been pretty good in the past, but she sort of hummed and went with it, before moving on. I wish someone would say, "well hang on, they've only lost one player from the team that finished 5th and 8th in the last 2 seasons, and spent most of last seson without half their 1st team due to injury, and if they do lose fofana and Tielemans they may be able to replace them and more  with the large amout of money they will get", but nobody does, they are all happy to go along with the Leicester are doomed scenario.  If Rodgers is sensible  he needs to use all this to our benefit. Say to the players that the club is being portrayed as a sinking ship and to go out and prove them all wrong. Build a seize mentality amongst the squad, its them and us!

Still the same squad until when? the transfer window isn't closed yet? If we keep our top players then yes we shall be ok if not then it will be a very worrying season. Yes sherwood is an irrelevance but he is right that something has happened behind the scenes at the club, there is no getting away from that. From now until the transfer window ends will tell us what the real picture is.

Funny how Sherwood has not had a management job since 2015! His time in management only last a year. lol

 

Mind knowing the English FA as we do, he'll still get shortlisted for the England job :blink:

Mers is a contender too. I actually like him as a person - something about his vulnerability and the wearing of his heart on his sleeve - but when it comes to punditry he is as useful as having Vestergaard defending corners.
