baldeagle Posted 7 August 2022 Posted 7 August 2022 Seriously whys he’s only made 1 sub and an incorrect one at that 1
Tanya Posted 7 August 2022 Posted 7 August 2022 Ah well. Off to bed I suppose. This squad is barely good enough for midtable.
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 7 August 2022 Posted 7 August 2022 Business as usual. Rodgers is ****ing clueless. 1
chrisfox Posted 7 August 2022 Posted 7 August 2022 Lessons have not been learned apparently. Would have kept KDH on and took Maddison off 1
ChrisFilter Posted 7 August 2022 Posted 7 August 2022 Not one of the doom merchants, but it's fair to say Rodgers has lost this particular tactical battle. 1
Finnegan Posted 7 August 2022 Posted 7 August 2022 Pub football defending for both goals by "Big" Dan. 1
splinterdream Posted 7 August 2022 Posted 7 August 2022 We needed to use subs wisely and we didn't, utter utter garbage
Nalis Posted 7 August 2022 Posted 7 August 2022 Just now, Mark said: Would have been better off going to a back four then that Daka sub, so bad from Rodgers Yep, thought that was going to happen. Maybe even with Albrighton on for Amartey to act as a defensive wide player. 1
foxfanazer Posted 7 August 2022 Posted 7 August 2022 The prat can't even see us to a win 2-0 up at home to Brentford 1
Dames Posted 7 August 2022 Posted 7 August 2022 Dan Amartey doing absolutely nothing to stop the shot, at fault for both goals. Who selected him? Rodgers.
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 7 August 2022 Posted 7 August 2022 Even the commentators mentioned that taking off KDH weakened the midfield
Tanya Posted 7 August 2022 Posted 7 August 2022 Just now, Big Dave said: We press and we’re all over them. Why do we then sit back? Amartey at fault for both. Remarkable that Cags isn't ahead of him in the pecking order. What is going on?

Flappit Posted 7 August 2022 Posted 7 August 2022 I tell you what, I'm really pleased we're not doing that nonsensical thing like last season where we took our foot off the gas and went passive, inviting the opposition back into the game. Who said Brendan can't learn from his mistakes? (in case anyone is wondering, yes, that is very sarcastic) 2 1

cityfanlee23 Posted 7 August 2022 Posted 7 August 2022 (edited) Don't even know what to say. Rodgers ball is terrible most of the time, and Rodgers has to take a large portion of the blame for his tactical negativity, but at the same time, the ENTIRE squad just switched off the second Brentford started to push forward. There's a massive void of leadership and effort in this team. I blame rodgers for a lot of it, but the players need to be absolutely hammered when they play like this. Rodgers can't take the blame for something as simple as players closing someone down. They are professional footballers. Edit: Turns out I did know what to say Edited 7 August 2022 by cityfanlee23
foxes_rule1978 Posted 7 August 2022 Posted 7 August 2022 Taking KDH off was one of the most bizarre decisions… 3
