It's sad how stale we have become. We used to be so fantastic with most of these current players, ripping teams to shreds with scintillating attacking movements.

Enjoy these highlights with your Sumday dinner. The good days under Rodgers were the best football we've ever seen at this club.

Leicester 5-0 Newcastle

Leicester 2-0 Arsenal

Leeds 1-4 Leicester

Southampton 0-9 Leicester

Aston Villa 1-4 Leicester

Leicester 4-1 West Ham

It's okay looking back at tte memories, but it just make the present seem so much worse as we had the potential  to do so much after winning the league

Lost opportunity  which we will NEVER  get again in our history

They have all been coached into a non risk take and passive style of play.

Or maybe he just wasn't that good. One good season (and I agree he was a beast that season) doesn't mean he's a good player.

It's all about consistency.

Rodgers always tried to justify the counter as something he inherited and not his philosophy. He has now coached our strength out of us and we are a passive, weak, possession for with no intent team. Get out of our club!!!

Maybe the golden era is over.

It could well be but that doesn't mean we can't be an entertaining team that is comfortable in the league.

If we were comfortable in the league, and competing for domestic trophies, then I would count that as the golden era still.

At the minute we just seem to be going nowhere.

As easy as it is to pick Vardy Mahrez or Kante, for me hands down the best performances I’ve ever seen from a Leicester player were Vardy in that first year under Rodgers from about Feb 2019-the March 2020 lockdown. He was just incredible. Think he got something like 30 goals in 34 starts and only Messi and Lewandowski had a better scoring record in that time in the whole of Europe.

This was another great performance, though it’s amazing how quickly I’d forgotten about the lack of crowds and how jarring it is to watch clips without fans again.

Completely forgot about this game. We really had so many unbelievable games that a 5-2 win at the Etihad slipped my mind.

The best managers can evolve and reinvent their teams while staying competitive. But that's 1% if managers in history. The rest see their teams and ideas go stale and get their marching orders. That doesn't mean they're bad people, it's just football.

Title season but this is class:

The most recent of those performances was 70 matches ago and all bar one was over 90 matches ago. Well over half of Rodgers’s reign ago.

It seems to have become a thing that experienced managers "go stale". Not quite sure why this is. Do they fail to keep up with modern teaching techniques? Does the hunger go? Maybe it's just down to reduced energy levels.
