Villa fans want Gerrard out and would like Rodgers to replace him, that will do me as long as he doesn’t come back for our players, Amartey, Vestergaard & Bertrand especially… :beer:

Its a match made in heaven. I hear that Brendan said Villa was his dream club as a boy. Who are we to stop him following his dreams.

Can see the game against them being the one that decides their fate loss either way reckon one of him or Gerrard goes. Especially if you look at both of our fixtures coming up

I think Rodgers would do well at Villa for the first couple of years, as he did here. They have some good players who much like ours, are not performing to their best levels at the moment. Rodgers history tells you that he does well for a couple of years before things start to tail off, I expect it will be the same at whatever club he next manages.

True but the club ends up being worse off than before he arrived.

Rogers to Villa will mean a couple of good seasons first before he buys everyone else's shite, is it worth seeing Villa outstanding for a couple of seasons?

 

Actually Villa have a pretty average squad anyway so what the heck :schmike:

Please no, not amartey, Vestegaard and bertrand, we’d be relegated for sure…….imagine if he took Perez for £30m as well, we’d be doomed

Yep, can't argue with that. Liverpool and Celtic both needed a rebuild of sorts after he left them
