Any hints ?

No idea on names, just what I've been told - that three could literally be done in an instant if Fofana goes through. Could be looking at others too though but far to late to be ****ing about and I really wouldn't get excited because the names we are seeing on the forum at the moment are hardly inspiring.

Yes but not anyone good, I would imagine only it will only be players that will only increase our problems. Genuinely going one way and that’s down. If not this year certainly next.

We won't go down either year

Anyone else getting the same horrible sick feeling felt in the closing days of the January 2020, January 2021 and January 2022 transfer windows when linked with the likes of Bennett and Nathaniel Chaloblah.

Not quite yet because thankfully in amongst the usual crap player links that end of the transfer window throws up there are some decent ones in there like Bade, Todibo, Tapsoba, Demiral etc.

They are all pretty similar in that they aren’t just cheap players their own club doesn’t mind losing but will probably cost a bit to get so it does make me think the club is looking around to buy someone like that

We're known for surprises when it comes to players joining, so not losing heart from the links so far and most links are agent talk anyway.

Confident we'll bring in at least a quality CB and a winger.

Got the surprise CB, now sort out the winger!

If what @SecretPro says is true... I think we will get the Belgian fella on a permanent, Diallo and Garner on loan and play out the season with 5 at the back or a diamond.

Looking at the squad list, we have 24 senior players - so only room right now for 1 incoming (fofana replacement) without any departures.

However I wouldn't be surprised if Bertrand isn't registered and depending on Ricardo's injury status we may not have to register him until January.

From what has been said on another thread, rumours are that Garner would replace Youri who is off.

I've said for a couple of weeks it's felt like the January where we ended up signing Molla Wague.

Garner on loan with an option would be a very good move by us. I'd rather we go for Diallo/Faes and and a wide player rather than 2 defenders though

We need 2 CBs though so if Tielemans and maybe Praet or Perez leave I'm hopeful we can stretch to a CM and RW too.

This is absolutely and beyond a doubt the most boring and disappointing transfer window I think I’ve probably EVER known as a Leicester fan. Have we ever had a summer where the club has literally signed no-one? (One for the stattos amongst us)

A replacement for Fofana, albeit probably a worse one means we further detract. Club can't be that naive. Clearly 3 signings min are required and the impact that has on others game around new arrivals. Now is the time, Jan could be too late.

Not only this. But has morale been this low in the past decade?

Will we get a RW?!

It would make absolutely no sense if we didn't considering it's the one position Rodgers has repeatedly said we need to bring someone in.

We need to lose a CM and replace them with a winger, squad is far too unbalanced atm.

In:

RW and another CB

Out:

One of Soumare/Tielemans/Praet

Perez

Vestergaard

Praet appears to be on the way back to Torino according to decent number of Italian sources, loan with an €8m obligation to buy.

Yes breaking now

Beyond a replacement centre-back, a winger is thought to be high on City’s list of priorities for the final two days of the window
