Yeah man, especially Fenerbahche - go through their squad and there's Kante, Talisca, Ederson, Asensio, Semedo, Skriniar, Fred amongst others— I doubt they're on a pittance. We aren't dealing with miserly Serie A loan with option merchants, I'd say if a player is linked with one of the bigger sides in Turkey it's encouraging for flogging them from our side

Turkish sides are Miserly on the transfer fee, hopefully with amortisation the fee we need to post a profit is low enough now after 4 years to shift him.

Vestergaard for instance has a zero book value now as he has outstayed his original contract

Yes, which is what I said in a previous post?

Fenerbahçe have just agreed a deal to sign Nathan Aké from Man City. Hopefully that isn’t instead of Faes!!

Can’t bear another season of watching him play for us. Very clearly does not want to be here

Can't believe he's 31 and has been at Man City for 6 years.

Wout Faes to Man City as Aké's replacement, here we go! Maresca wanted to reunite with the Belgian and sees him as key to his project
- Fabrizio Romano, probably

At the risk of being accused of being a sheep (🤷🏻‍♀️) I dislike him immensely and wish he’d feck off.

Would bet my life he isn’t here next year- could genuinely see him taking a year out before he comes back to us in L1. Think it’ll end up being a loan for most of his wages and release him next year

As much as I hate seeing some of these players repeatedly represent Leicester City I'd also like to see them forced to play League 1 football. They contributed to us playing at this level. How Faas, Winks, Kristenson, Okoli etc can think League 1 is beneath them baffles me.

However, I realise they are also going to bankrupt the club and I never want to see them in a Leicester shirt ever again.

Therefore, anyone who offers money can take them.

They all need to leave, they're a disgrace they have multiple relegations on their Cvs. It's Leicester City who suffer long term, we need to move on from this rabble and win the league.

Just checked the club website for the current squad and he isn't listed in the team as a 1st team player anymore. Thought it might have been because he was on loan last season but McCarthy and Chaplin are both included so must have been updated recently.

Think this is just the fact that the loan players of last season, aren't on there.

6th March 26

Parc des Prince

20th October 26

Hayes Lane

Can you blame him, if he has made it clear he doesn’t want to play

I imagine every interested club is holding their nerve in relation to the fee (assuming there are any!). They'll all know we need to sell and the closer it gets to deadline day the chances of a free or very favourable loan moves in their favour. Could even see him playing a few then leaving on deadline day so I can see why we're keeping him involved unfortunately.

Didn't like seeing him with the armband on Saturday though :revenge:

Not sure anyone did. However kind of depends how it was positioned to the squad. Maybe Martin said something along the lines of "I'm giving it Faes, he's an international defender, who from the rest of you is going to step up and show me you should take it off him" which puts a different slant on it.

Either way, I'll be happy when he's gone!
