I mean I dont mind players giving it out if they can deliver consistently. That said obviously this club is ran by morons, if the manager doesn't talk to players about why they are dropped I can understand why the morale is bad. Managers have to communicate, in fairness a one legged Faes would be better than any of our current defenders.

I think Enzo is correct for what its worth, if he could keep his concentration he could be a top player. Unfortunately he cant so, he isnt, but there are worse problems than him.

but unless you’ve seen every 125 games he’s played for us you have no right to call us out on any comments about him.  In the last 18 months  he’s done nothing but blame other players for his mistakes and rhetoric bad goals conceded. He’s walked around the pitch  in such a way as to clearly not want to be here or put any effort in, and then complains at the fans when we are unhappy about it.

 

hes got a bad attitude and he is part of the reason we are in this mess, this mess is happening because of him not in spite of him.

The Monaco Soumare bid still sticks in my craw, allegedly they bid £15m or so and we were splitting hairs for a bit more. Anyway, good we weren't mugged off and we've paid an extra £10m in wages and he's left for a nominal fee. `there will be more of these we haven't heard about

I honestly think most of the opprobrium that comes his way is down to his hair. And yes, I'm being serious. Leicester people have never liked flamboyance or fancy dans.

I mean this one still seems pretty black and white to me. In Wout Faes's last 2 games for the club we were down 3-0 at half time.

 

It should have been obvious to Faes why he was dropped but somehow it never is. He was playing like sh*t.

 

As bad as Nelson and Okoli have been they are not as bad as Faes.

He'd never be a top defender, he doesn't have the attributes for that. If he could cut out the mistakes then he'd be a solid PL defender but nothing more.

 

And a lot of revisionism about his ability, performances and attitude. He was even worse than the clowns currently in the team

When we signed him Roberto Martinez said he had a few bits to learn, but he was 'the future of Belgium's defence'. He was 24.

 

3 and half years later, despite playing regularly in the premier league and championship, it's clear he didn't learn those lessons. He never pushed up his level.

 

Poor decision making, arrogance, lack of concentration, lack of discipline, misapplication in training, missing an ounce of desire - whatever it was, he's about to turn 28 and it's clear he reached his ceiling. 

 

Another signing that a smart club would have been able to move on after a couple of seasons when it became clear he wasn't going to hit the mark.
