Blame who, what or 'nothing, the climate can just be like this'?..

Everyone with any kind of power to affect change.

Because should the worst happen, those who are left with a vastly more shitty world will blame each and every one of us, and I wouldn't blame them for doing so.

Absolutely sick of hearing about 1976 from boomers

Many seem to think it’s a badge of honour that means they can scoff at what we are seeing now. It was clearly a fluke at the time where it didn’t even reach temperatures as high as we see now as well as now being more and more regular and earlier/for longer.

It's fear. It's people so afraid of change that might affect their lives that they cannot deal it, and so engage in denial.

Unfortunately, the laws of thermodynamics and their consequences cannot be bluffed, or ignored, for very long. Some folks clearly cannot grasp that.

Also makes me laugh how people think the answer is to open their windows. No understanding of basic heat transfer and thermodynamics at all!

Frustrating tonight though. Looks like it will be at least 10pm before opening windows will achieve anything. Normally it’s possible a bit earlier.

I've mentioned this before, but this drives me insane with my in-laws, they cannot comprehend that opening the windows when it's warmer outside lets the warm air in. How hard is it to understand, really lol

I just reached 30.5c indoors so I’ve given in and opened all the windows as it’s about on parity.
