When we're a good side and we lose then I can't really handle it. The ending to the 19/20 and 20/21 seasons were just awful.

But right now i'm just going through the motions. I actually laughed at some of the defending yesterday.

After our best years ever I'm not quite as bad as I was. Frustrated and annoyed after bad results but quicker recovery mood wise. My wife used to say to my daughter don't ask for anything after a loss but after a win you can ask for the world. Following Leicester is a bit having a best friend that will all to often let you down but remains a friend still.

That's a good point, 19/20 especially, I'm almost glad I'm devoid of hope to warrant an angry reaction

Being at work makes it worse.. having colleagues that support other clubs teasing, yet twisting on the pain I already feel…

“wheels ‘av come off your club ain’t they?”.

“Wish we could play your sh1te lot next weekend, need 3 easy points”

”enjoy the footy on Sunday did ya?”

no I effing didn’t enjoy it obviously, grrrrrrr

even had an Ipswich fan make a cooment this morning… like we’re still better (I think anyway) that effing tractor boys… jeez it’s tough to not snap!!!

My teenage kids hate me

My depressed wife can't find a job

My health is fvcked

Works going down the shitter

Bills going through the roof

Etc, etc.

How Leicester City are doing is way down the list of priorities for me atm

But then again we all need a positive distraction from every day life. Just piled on the agony at the moment.

Being in lockdown made the ending to 19/20 a hell of a lot worse too. It made me feel like the players needed my support, I felt totally useless watching us unravel away at Watford, Bournemouth, Everton and Spurs.

Doesn't bother me much beyond the final whistle. I might actually be hankering for some Championship football, as long as it doesn't threaten our existence. More games, easier to get tickets without having to buy a membership, no VAR, less tippy-tappy dull football and a bit more blood and thunder.

the drawback of being a Leicester fan in Australia is that noone else cares when we are superstars....the benefit of being a Leicester fan in Australia is that noone else cares when we are crap.

Over the years, 67 of them in fact, I have become accustomed to the rare highs and more than a fair share of lows.

It will affect true supporters just like me but it is the way we are capitulating that is the greatest concern.

With the Club in financial straits, which has been personified by our lack of transfer market activity, it just shows what a results based industry this is.

As an eternal optimist I sincerely hope our fortunes turn around before too long.

I'm going thru the motions... wife getting frustrated at me checking my phone for updates and the fall out from players etc

My 10y son is torn between Leicester and forist.... don't ask .. seriously I wanna punch the little tw@ sometimes when he comes out with comments like 'we need Henderson in goal he saves penalties!!)  Then I'm reminding him that dickhead has conceded same amount as our dickhead

Go back to school 😆

Took my 6 year old Grandson on the Stadium Tour yesterday!..

It felt very flat to me this time round, but tried to be upbeat for him of course.

He's keen on going to a match, but he's autistic and would find it hard coping with the noise.... But, I was thinking yesterday perhaps it would be better to take him to a Championship game next season!!  Better chance of getting a ticket and quite a few games would be nowhere near a full house.

Subconsciously i think i am in a better mood when the team is doing well. When not so well, i'm in a neutral mood. Still really enjoy going to games even when we badly lose, including yesterday. I am intrigued by how many comments i see from people who love non league football. I went to Sutton on saturday and it was terrible. Basic level 10mph football played on a dogsh1t filled temporary park. Maybe i'm missing something

Saddened by it and angry at times.

It has been a real positive for me over the last 8-9 years so very uplifting.

Hard to think I was at Eindhoven in April which was just amazing and then Rome A and 5 months later we are here???

For me its the speed of the turnaround of the descent, and actually the resignation and flatness of the crew I drink with before the game on Thursday night and my 18 year old lad suffering his first Leicester downturn.

This is a decent team and squad and manager, should be able to finish 14th or something, as the beeb has just shown, its all about this.

Ideally 5 wins!!!  Reality 2 wins and 3 draws BUT its has to turn here:

They have to know though, this is where it gets done,we have a chance here BUT we have to go at these games now!!!

The threat of being relegated used to bother me a lot more, I put this down to getting older but also the fact we achieved 2 things I never thought I'd see, if someone offered Leicester winning the premier League & FA Cup then relegation, I would've snapped their arms off.  I accept the highs and lows of being a fan.

We are emotional beings. It seems we can all clearly see what is happening, and yet it seems we can do very little about it.

If I, or anyone else were in a tiny minority who see it as the utter mess it is, we could maybe think " oh it's just me" or something similar.

Hard to do that if you do care !

I appreciate you starting this thread, and the answers from some of those who have developed a kind of " numbness" ( for want of a better word )

Sadness, frustration and some anger is not a good mix ,for me anyway

Probably best to take a few days break from here for me.

Its also so hard to understand why those " up top" do not appear to be seeing what needs to be done, and how this is so damaging for the club :(

I can 't understand it, so its time to stop wondering about that, at least for a few days.

Otherwise all this pent up frustration and so on will be taken out on those who have done nothing to deserve it, and that is not right

I will not be putting any more of my money into this club for the moment, and will try to spend a lot less time " thinking" about it all.

That is becoming an unhealthy endless loop, so far endless seems about right !

Best wishes to you all, and thanks again for starting this  thread

I’m passionate about LCFC, have been since my numpty dad too me to see us lose 2-3 at home to Man Utd and accidentally got us in the away end. Thought was there.

Watched us home and away for years. Seen managers come and go since Jock Wallace. Went to every match in league 1.

the current situation saddens me, but not much more than that. We have had amazing times recently and, but for some really weird decisions, those times could well have continued.

I have annoyed a number of posters here by banging on for sometime that Rodgers needs to go. It started during our first top 4 collapse into 5th. I knew then we would end up at this point.

We have completed domestic football and now the wilderness calls. I’m ok with that, I’ve been there the majority of my Leicester supporting life.

It is getting to me at the minute.

It seems like we're in a perfect storm.

There just doesn't seem to be any good news, financially we seem to have backed ourselves into a corner where we can't make any signings or afford to sack a toxic manager who has thrown in the towel. On the playing side we seem to have made a number of poor signings on over inflated contracts that we are now stuck with. A team losing week after week with  players either sitting it out because they don't see eye to eye with the manager or being horribly exposed by being played out of position.

I'm hoping we pull out of it soon because with the debt and commitments we have relegation would be a horror story.
