I'm 28 years-old. I thought I was past the point of negative Leicester results making me feel miserable and I am to an extend. When we have a bad result but I feel like the club is in a reasonable place, I'm over it pretty quickly. However, it is making me very miserable at the minute, as for the first time in a long-time, I worried about where the club is going. How does it affect you? Does it still hurt you or are you over it pretty quickly?

Meh. Losing games in the 2016, 2020 and 2021 seasons hurt far more than it does now because of expectation levels and I’ve accepted what may come.

I don't let football affect me in that way TBH. I get frustrated and overwhelmingly annoyed at times (see: Spurs last season) but it lasts a short while and I move on. I don't want to speak for other people as they might be in different personal circumstances, but... IMO, it really is only a game and a bit of perspective goes a long way. (not the "we used to be in League One" perspective, that shit can get in the bin)

It's a distraction more than anything else and in some sort of weird masochistic way, the current predicament makes it more interesting than ever.

The football might be, but as a club we're never boring.

First couple of games this season I was seriously bothered and angry with the showing and results. Yesterday I just turned it off, emotionless, and went and spend time with my son. May be best to do that for the rest of the games until the gutless **** is gone. He’s not energising our team to care us much as we do, so not worth the bother imo.

If we go down then fair enough. Has to happen sometime and I'd rather it just happen, than end up as some awful Stoke/ Sunderland circling the drain for years.

I had more fun watching my local non league hoof the ball up the pitch than I have watching my last couple of City games.

I’m also 28 and I was at the game yesterday. I felt incredibly frustrated watching that load of crap and I wanted to rip the seats up and throw them at Brendan. Of course I wouldn’t do such a thing but that’s how I felt. The moment I stepped out of the stadium I was basically over it and it didn’t ruin my evening. I got home to my lovely wife and she has made dinner and everything was good again. It is just a game. You have to put things in to perspective. IF we go down. Which I still don’t think we will. But IF we do, my god we’ve seen the best 7/8 years in the clubs long history.

I noticed a mark on our living room wall a few days ago. Mrs. FFF went on to explain I did it when I threw the remote down hard on the sofa as I stormed out the room after a previous capitulation.

Apparently, it bounced up and hit the wall, leaving the scuff behind.

Terrible really.:nono:

It's never bothered me less to be honest.

Ageing, the current malaise around the club and growing detachment from modern football all contributing factors.

I get this angle. Football has eaten itself up.

It's funny actually. The other night after the Utd game, my Mrs (who knew we were playing but didn't know the score) said "I take it Leicester are doing well?" When I told her we were far from it, she said "your not pissed off after games anymore so I thought you were winning".

It really hit home how I'm really passed caring anymore.

This pretty much and we have been spoiled the past decade. The performances this season haven't come from the lens of injustice or anything like that, they're pretty hard to get angry at. Helps I had zero expectations this season and wrote it off before a ball was kicked

Funnily enough, I thought we'd have a decent season with a fully fit squad and no European commitments lol

I don't like losing, though sometimes I can accept it more, but it doesn't "ruin my weekend" as people say. I love football and I love City but I wouldn't say it takes over my life sort of thing. I like to talk about games after but the next day I have the "onto the next game" feeling. I am still excited when I'm up early on a matchday and I know I'm going to the game.

Seeing us bottom was sadder than I expected though. I thought I'd sort of laugh it off but it's actually horrible to see us bottom. So I dunno how I'd feel if we went down because I (we) obviously haven't experienced relegation in a long time.

My teenage kids hate me

My depressed wife can't find a job

My health is fvcked

Works going down the shitter

Bills going through the roof

Etc, etc.

How Leicester City are doing is way down the list of priorities for me atm

I’d say a loss affects me more when we’re playing well and competing for something. I was frustrated for days after the Welbeck winner in the title-winning season, likewise after the cup semi at Villa Park.

I literally couldn’t care less at the minute, which probably says it all.
