Back in the days of Pleat the whole main stand would join together in a slow handclap or would openly sing “what a loud of rubbish!”

What worries me at the moment is that people are leaving the ground on 60 or 75 mins and are not staying around to protest!

Things are so bad at the moment that Brendan has to be persuaded that enough is enough!

Against Villa we need visible “Anti Rodgers” banners!  Not just a token one or two! This has to be the fixture to that ensures at the end of it that we have a new manager in place for the Forest match!

We can’t keep carrying on walking out!  We have to stay to the end to protest!!  If we don’t do this on Sat we could be as good as down in 4 to 5 games!!

Please make your banners now!!

We have to take action!

Leaving the game with 20 MINUTES left to play is a protest. No one’s leaving that early to beat the traffic

Ever sat in the west stand? The record on my row is the 67th min (he normally leaves around the 82nd but obviously he really wanted to sit in his car)

But then the "protest" is not seen to be aimed solely at the manager, but could be interpreted as against the club board or the players.

Everyone remembers the small airplane flying over Filbert St pre match with the “Pleat Out Now!!”
No one remembers empty seats!!!!

Leaving early can be interpreted as not being happy with team!!

This is why direct anti Rodgers songs or banners now need to take place!!   Empty seats have so far changed absolutely nothing!

I remember that song we sang so loud, during rodgers first season, fans seemed so willing then.

Now the clappers are gone, and is nothing.  Also we just boo at end, dont see any rodgers out banners during game.

We score an early goal and the stadium will be rocking and you won't see any sign of discontent. The average football fan's opinion lasts about 60 seconds, especially when there's a game on.

Wow sounds raucous! How long did the board wait in the face of such raw anger and rage before they sacked him?

He won't be in charge for Villa so no need for protests.

Any basis for you confidence on this? I would have shared it this morning but fear it's not going to happen now before Sunday at the earliest.

I think your original post proves we've never been good at protesting.

Ramadoane is normally right. He doesn't normally say much but when he does its normally right.

I think its been a slow decline and, as bad as performances were, it's harder to get frustrated at narrow losses to Arsenal and Manchester United.

I feel that the Brighton result has been the straw that's broke the camels back for a lot of people. We have already seen banners in that match, as well as anti - Rodgers chanting, I suspect this will only become more obvious and regular from this point.

On one side, you think a nice Hostile atmosphere on Saturday might finally get the cogs in Tops head moving however on the flip side, the last thing we want to do is lower the confidence of players who most likely want him gone as much as we do!

We have seen some very bad performances from our players, but even so, I have no frustration towards them as I put it completely down to how they are trained, instructed & managed. One or two players, fair enough, but to basically cause a decline in the whole starting 11? That's a management issue.

In the olden days you'd have most of the Kop pens marching round to the main stand entrance hurling abuse and bricks. I'm not kidding, ask your dad's if you weren't there.

Title season and season before that pissed all over Filbert Street on many occasions I went there as a kid. Rose tinted spectacles a lot of the time about the old days for you lot. I remember MANY really quiet filbert street games.

We aren't a weak fan base either.

Lmfa the main stand didn't ever want Pleat

Out.

Pen 2 and 3 did. Shipman said he was happy to shut the kop and keep Pleat.

He walked away when he realised the feeling if the real fans.

It’s a totally different situation. Pleat never did anything good for the club so everybody was happy to protest. Although the vast majority will now want Rodgers out, a lot will be remember the good job he did in his first few seasons and will conclude that personal protests against Rodgers are too much.
