Possible but unlikely. Its easy to forget how numerous managers have completely out thought him tactically, have motivated their players far more

Rodgers is a busted flush only concerned with himself

However Rudkin and Co need some serious scrutiny

The problem with rodgers is that its gone past results, its now down to how he's effecting the foundations. He could win 6 in a row, thats not going to change the fact that we will at some stage go on another rodgers slump, or that he's the worst possible man for a rebuild or that he will happily ostracize a player if it saves him taking the blame, or that he will push everyone to the point of injruy no matter what the fixture congestion is.

Nobody doubts that he can do a job on the pitch with the right squad in front of him. But we arent a top 6 club, we dont have consistent high quality coming to the club, we need a manager who will make the most of what we do have, including our youth and be savy in the market with a real vision for the type of player we need.  Thats why someone like thomas frank would be great, they may not sign the most high profile players going but with the players they do get, he always seems to get the most out of them and it makes them a very tough side to play.

Ok I’m really confused now. Just watched and read Rogers pre game interview. He comes across pretty sincere in wanting to fight for his job and regain the confidence the team has been so lacking. Also goes into great detail when questioned on how he comes across as unenthusiastic mentions he takes after his dad who was a jolly guy apparently but always looked miserable. It’s all a bit baffling this drama.

Is he getting more time now? The queens passing has also added to taking some pressure off as it’s taking attention away and giving him more time to work on things. I guess time will tell.

He blamed the fans for Ward being crap?

It was something about booing and pessimism from the fans creating low confidence amongst the defenders and thus conceding more. Said it Brighton postgame.

Yes of course he can and I would expect most fans to agree....

Win football matches, play the best players in their right positions, take accountability and stop the self PR - easy really.......will he do it no chance

Only if he plays Nacho and drop Ndidi consistently will he show me that he understands where his blind spots are and is willing to change. I doubt that will ever happen though.

We have been waiting for months for him to turn it around. He hasn't got the capability to do so. Therefore he won't set us on a run of games that changes opinions. So it's a no from me.

It would have to be one hell of a winning streak involving some sh*t hot football for that to happen. I stuck up for him last season with all the injuries as a fair justification for the defensive collapse and the inconsistency in our overall play but this season, regardless of the lack of spending on tops part hes got a full weeks training to deliver with the best facilities in the country and is serving up the worst football we've played in a long time.

No, Rodgers is done here, finally the majority of the fanbase has turned, criticizing the fans was the final straw for a lot of supporters I think.

Oh absolutely, I’m as fickle as they come.

Unlikely as it looks but if we put together a six or seven game run and it’s Brendan Rodgers Blue and White army all over again.

I think he's genuinely surprised he's not been sacked , they've called his bluff a little. If he suddenly gets us aying good football , having great team spirit, improving plaers and winning games, of course.

But that, is very unlikely

Not a chance....tactically he is poor and his substitutions are worse.  He seems unable to admit our inability to defend set pieces over the last 2 seasons was anything more than a slight blip, when it was in fact a gift to the opposition, bordering on certain goal.

Not now. There was real scope for a change in approach this season, a chance to create a siege mentality and play a style that encouraged the players and got the fans interested again. I felt if he did that then he's proven to be an adaptable, quality coach.

But he has handled the last six weeks terribly on and off the pitch and if this is how he reacts to adversity then God help us next time.

He's done here.

He can if he gets back to winning ways and ditches sideways and backwards passing just for the sake of keeping possession. He needs to stop criticising players in public as it doesn't work and just gets their backs up. He needs to stop putting square pegs in round holes and play players in the positions where they are most effective. Stop having a go at players, the chairman and the fans and take responsibility for how the team is playing. How likely is any if this. Not likely.

If he reflects on the questions from that Bourne interview, takes genuine responsibility and apologises. Gets the players back on his side. And turns things round on the pitch.

Not going to happen though is it.
