It’s the corner taker who is offside they just haven’t shown the angle. It’s poor from the tv side of things, the producers are privy to the VAR conversation so just relay it to us FFS so we know what’s going on

So because there’s no camera angle of it they’re saying it’s the corner taker that’s off. lol

The camera angle isn't available so they have to go with the onfield decision.

The ref looks a bit of a homer.

The very same that thought Morton’s foul on Ricky was just a yellow

If they don't have the camera angles there shouldn't be VAR. Absolute sh***

if there was no var then it’s offside cos the lino put his flag up ….

Not disputing that but how can you have VAR without the appropriate coverage

Klopp wont like that as I see he's been calling for no FA Cup replays. How about calling for less pointless European games instead.

I’ve freeze framed that wolves goal and I think the lino prob got it wrong

the first header by a wolves player goes back towards the corner taker and I think he’s probably offside at that point. But it then comes off a second wolves head and at that point I doubt that he’s offside. TAA is very deep at the far post. I don’t think that the lino sees the second header.

Salah was offside when the ball was actually kicked forward. Irrespective of what happened next with the defender heading it backwards has nowt to do with it. He was offside.

Basically seems like VAR had to go with the assistants call as they had no footage to over rule them .

Well has that happened before at Anfield if there are issues with camera angles etc ?

Surely the ref has to go to linesman and ask what bit of the play he is flagging for. Did he see trent on the goal line?

If its the corner taker then fair enough. If its for the goal then he has to tell VAR to look at after the 2nd cross.

There didn't look to be much conversation going on.

The law says not and the law here is an ass. If the defender plays the ball as opposed to the ball just hitting him then it becomes a new phase of play and salah is then on side. I’ve always thought it’s a shit law.
