Very weird game in which we had one shot on target and scored two. Hardly the future of success, good job we played a dispirited Leeds. But I'll take it. Now, FFS, get a result against wolves. An equally poor team. I don't fancy us against the Mancs!

I think Evans was a great addition when he came here. All his experience at the highest level but he's pretty much shot now.

But would you be happy with Big Dan in for him as a permanent fixture ( we all know Cags won't get a game whilst Todgers is still manager)

Hopefully it's the future. Like garlic bread

I just wish there was a way that they could broadcast it live, as opposed to about 40 seconds behind.

A very small thing to moan about, but if you're checking bets on a gambling website...

It's got a lot better since last year and the commentary and punditry is first class.

The new delivery drivers look like absolute w*nkers though :D

It was resilient and functional tonight. Another clean sheet and a win - a massive win.

I wasn’t optimistic given the spine of the team from recent times wasn’t there tonight, and I’d take this type of performance and outcome every time. Lots to improve, but also lots to build on.

Right, my sat nav says I’m getting home around 2am 😴

The post match fellating of Rodgers is a bit nauseating.

He's hardly going to come and say ;Leeds were shit and we weren't much better;.

A wins a win.  But yeah like the forest game, I'm reading nothing in to this.  There was still a huge amount of errors from us that would of gone punished by anyone half decent.

We do look more solid defensively however in recent weeks.

But I'm with others, Praet simply has to play in the right side from now on this season.  We have a much better shape with him

Our two goals were created from really penetrative moves though. Unlike any of Leeds 14 efforts.

The people posting stats of tonight as if it shows some kind of Leeds dominance are likely the exact same fans who bemoan Rodgers' possession stats when we get comfortbaly beat.

We were easily better than them and had another gear if we needed it. Much better but nowhere near out of it yet and getting at Wolves is a must.

Good result, but Leeds were absolutely atrocious. Seeing some of the sh*te we've come up against in recent weeks has at least given me some hope that as bad as we've been (and for the avoidance of doubt we've been truly awful), we may stay up by virtue of the fact that there are likely 3 teams worse than us. Didn't think Leeds offered any threat whatsoever and on balance of play I thought we were clearly the better side yet the stats were a little concerning. We'd be tested much more against a better side so I hope the result gives us the us the confidence we need to push on and get a result against Wolves.

Disgusting of some Leeds fans to start chants and helicopter signs.

Don’t blame some of the lads for responding with Turkish knife chants.

Yes I’m aware two wrongs don’t make a right.

Well done Belgium boys 👏👏👏👏👏

Probably helped that Martinez was a pundit & watching them live & Youri having to do post match interview

Do agree we didn't need to be better than we were, but it's a dangerous game to think average is good enough when you're down where we are. We've beat Leeds and Forest, not a glowing resume. I need to see something from this team away, and wolves couldn't be a better opportunity... But can we take it?

That's really pissed me off.

I know a couple of Leeds fans and they're good as gold but they've got a rotten core as a fan base of some absolute cvnts.

A decent win and a decent performance.

I do think a quality side might have made us pay for some of our mistakes, but at least all seemed in for the cause and maybe earned that luck by actually putting in 90mins.

Was it me? or did Ward seem to have a real spring in his step, a confidence tonight?.

Lastly Faes looked far more settled tonight, a couple of wilder moments but all round a decent performance. If he pushes on and improves, could be up there with our more iconic defenders.
