The only way we could is if we sack Rodgers - we won’t.

 

Then, if we nailed his replacement -  we wouldn’t - we’d have a chance of 7th.

 

Our chance creation is terrible.

Playing well and beating Everton today would give me some hope

fivethirtyeight now give us a 4% chance of finishing seventh or higher ... and 11% chance of relegation.

 

If that first number becomes higher than the second, I’ll allow myself this degree of optimism.

7 points off 6th right now (although they do have games in hand) and over half a season left to play? I don't know why everyone's writing it off?!

 

Have some optimism and dream a bit, let's say we hit a run of 4 or 5 games winning on the bounce, we'll be right up there in the mix for Europe again, and with the form we are hitting now it's not unlikely either.

 

80/1 for top 6 (500/1 for top 4 if you're feeling really spicey) is worth a fiver all day long
