And sadly it really brings home our fall over the last 18 months to 2 years.

There wasn't much between us in the League, we did the double over them.

They were chasing us over the last couple of years and now it will take us 3-4 years IF all goes well to even get close to them now, because we couldn't stay up.

Premier league is brutal. Wouldn’t be surprised if Brighton and West Ham go down next season. Think villa will be ok as emery is experienced

You also sound bitter Bert.

Just let ‘em enjoy the night like we would have done

That’s like Plymouth singing champions of England to us next season.

I’m delighted they’ve won it though, great scenes.

Anyone who says the conference league is either lying or the most plastic fan on earth

i'd probably take the conference rn just because it'd be a new trophy. the league cup is harder to win tho

Watching westham win just makes me sad as this is where leicester should/could have been 😪 winning a European trophy was the next step which unfortunately never happened and is a long way off now 😪 chuffed for them but just makes me think what if...  we will be back!!!! Whichever league we are in I will follow!

Acting like you wouldn't have loved to win it last season lol

Of course we would. But imagine the reaction from certain people on here if we’d have won it and sang that!

People “cringe” at us singing “Jamie Vardy he’s won more than you” at clubs he actually hasn’t so what’s the difference here?

I hope Rudkin watched Bowen winning goal.......bet he feels abit sick now after he rejected Bowen in an interview at Leicester because he thought he had an ego

Just another great decision he’s made

12 - West Ham United won more games in the Europa Conference League (12) than in the Premier League this season (11), the first time ever an English side has won more games in European competition than in the league in a single season. Specialists.

I should have added I'm not referring to any Leicester fan wanting to add another trophy to our collection, was just answering a straight comparison between the league cup and this trophy.

would fans rather have this or the league cup?

I think clubs like us or West Ham etc will be happy to win whatever competition you can and revel in it. When we won The League Cup in 97 I thought it was marvellous

Hope they get a years ban for their fans misbehaviour anyway.

Good chance of a stadium ban you’d think given issues and charges they’ve had over their last two European campaigns

Dang it. I liked it, when we were the only non big 6 team to win major trophies. Oh well, big grats to West Ham, first trophy since 1980 is something to celebrate.

Let them enjoy winning the European  equivalent of the Rumbelows Cup!

"Champions of Europe, we know what we are!"🤣🤣

I think they'll both drop off a bit, but suspect there'll be enough rubbish to keep them both safe.

Luton, Bournemouth, Sheffield United and Forest all more likely to drop imo.
