Am I thinking of someone else? The Richarlison I know might be a complete helmet (on the pitch anyway, he seems fairly grounded off it unlike some of his compatriots) but he is categorically not "shit", "largely useless" or an "Everton reject" as I've seen him described here

Well he’s not going to play as a number 9 for Spurs as golden boy has to play no matter how tired he is. Pretty sure he was out wide at Everton alot as well but maybe this central role is better for him.

The amount of random and bizzare mistakes in decisions Serbia are making really baffles me. They're hoplese. Really pushing for worst if a pretty bad bunch so far.

I don't think that's true at all. They're miles better than teams like Australia, Qatar, Costa Rica and Iran.

Brazil are so strange. Always look unconvincing, they have done for years beautiful game my arse, their midfield has been functional rather than flamboyant for years. But they have so many talented wide players and forwards with brilliant technique and they always get the job done. But every time I've watched them in the past decade plus, they've always looked unconvincing.

Seems very much psychological. Nobody, not even England, carry the weight of expectation like Brazil. They're often favourites just because they're Brazil. That can't not have an impact on the psyche.

Yeah, good point well made. You feel like they can always play better than they do and maybe it's that external pressure that makes them go into their shell.
