7 vs 6

7 vs 8

7 vs 11

7 vs 13

They are all acceptable.

Especially considering we'll be missing at least 3/4 players if Belgium make the final of the World Cup.

I would be happy with any home game or any of the following away (for attending the match, not necessarily progression):

Blackburn Rovers
Brighton & Hove Albion (least preferred out of this list but I need to tick this ground off)
Charlton Athletic
Gillingham (although a bit of a trek)
Lincoln City
Milton Keynes Dons
Nottingham Forest
Wolverhampton Wanderers
Aston Villa

Anything other than balls 9,10,12 and 16 then confident of progressing

9 and 10 would be fine due to WC disruption to those teams, plus Liverpool play reserve teams. I am confident we can beat anyone at home.

Lincoln City at home... the LCFC derby!

I think all the remaing "big boys" will play their reserves, but let others knock them out...

I am so unrealistically excited about this competition this year!

 :scarf:

Shameless self-promotion: I am hosting a pub quiz at the 1852 Brewery Co. in Wigston on Sunday Nov. 13 at 8pm. C'mon down.

The big question on everyone's lips. Are you more excited about the Carabao Cup or the hosting of the pub quiz this weekend?

Would definitely have to put a bet on Tom Hopper scoring if we got them

Would be delighted with Gillingham away. Never been there and it's extremely winnable.

Avoid Liverpool or Man City obviously. While this year of all you're seeing plenty of bigger names drop out, the likes of Haaland, Salah, Diaz, Firmino aren't going to the World Cup. It hurts us more than it does these! Ideally these two get each other or Newcastle and we avoid the other.

We should be going for this. No good reason to not.

I decided to go there once before. January 2003, In a season we seemed almost invincible and Gillingham were bobbing along near the bottom.

Needless to say it pissed it down and we lost 3-2 to a last minute Rod Wallace goal.

Need to avoid the big clubs early. Once the congestion kicks in after the new year they'll be looking to rest their best players as much as possible. If we can get through the next round we stand a good chance of going all the way.

Away please to either Lincoln, Gillingham or Blackburn - as they are the three grounds of the 17 where I have not watched LCFC.

You’d be the only person delighted to go Gillingham. I’ve never seen City there but I really wouldn’t want to go back 😂

Lincoln away would be the pick from an away trip point of view

Surprised more people not saying forest away. We owe them a battering in the cup after last season

At home maybe but I wouldn't fancy us at their place again.

Lets leave it to one visit per season, in the league.
