Klopp had always notoriously disrespected the Carabao cup and plays the kids every year. Though last year that method accidently got them to the final (thanks to us).

I can understand nowadays playing a weaker side in Cup games but I don't agree with it. As you said it's disrespectful to all these lower league sides and their fans.

That was pure luck that we imploded. We will never get a better chance to win at Anfield.

What gets overlooked in that game is we went down to 10 men for about the last 15/20 minutes. We had made all of our subs when Vardy’s hammy went.
It also cost us the penalty shoot out - Vardy taking a penalty rather than Luke Thomas and we go through.

The biggest problem, as so often, was Rodgers tactics. We were battering them, Vardy hit the post first half on a hattrick to make it 4-1. Second half Rodgers went defensive when we should have looked for the 4th, it was there for the taking. Such a frustrating night because we completely controlled them.

Would be delighted with Gillingham away. Never been there and it's extremely winnable.

Avoid Liverpool or Man City obviously. While this year of all you're seeing plenty of bigger names drop out, the likes of Haaland, Salah, Diaz, Firmino aren't going to the World Cup. It hurts us more than it does these! Ideally these two get each other or Newcastle and we avoid the other.

We should be going for this. No good reason to not.

Got to be the worst away end ever

Still can't believe we didn't go through in that match. We should have easily been 5-1 at half time.

I decided to go there once before. January 2003, In a season we seemed almost invincible and Gillingham were bobbing along near the bottom.

Needless to say it pissed it down and we lost 3-2 to a last minute Rod Wallace goal.

Turns out it wasn't a Rod Wallace goal, he just set it up for Sidibe. Thought that was an important clarification.

Went there when we played them donkey's years ago, I think we lost 3-2.

The trip is only memorable as when we got back to the car, we threw our coats in the boot pulled the boot down only to find out that the driver's car keys were in his coat & the car was locked! It was the middle of January & absolutely freezing & we had to wait 3 hours for the AA to come & sort it. Terrible day
