Its not got ‘character’ though (rusted over toilets and you have to walk through an old ladies back garden to get to your seat)

i wonder if teams will go as strong as possible and see this as a final preseason game, rather then the heavy rotation we are expecting? 

 

Surely it will be seen as an opportunity to get your best players back up to speed. 

 

It would be weird for liverpool for example to bench salah or man city haaaland if they’ve not played competitively for so long

It will be a good dry run for assessing performance levels and to build a bit of confidence (barring a slip up). 

 

Great draw, I'd say.

 

Proper club with a great history too...

Does it? I completely missed that. I know we mocked spurs for being in the conference cup, but when we got demoted into it there was quite a nice feel about the competition.

It's just after world cup final so some teams may be forced to rotate, depending on how many players they're missing. 

 

If Belgium make it to the final, we miss Youri, Castagne and Faes. 

 

Not sure what the statutory break is, so even if teams make the semis we may be missing quite a few.
