@jaqo88- not sure if this has already been said, but I hope you had a great time!

Thanks so much!!! Couldn’t ask for a better result, a month or so ago I thought today could be looking very different so I am glad

Also interesting that our spine today was Ward, Faes, Soumare, Daka, when Evans, N’didi and Vardy were fit and available.

We have evolved, and, it would seem emerged into a new phase.

Always love a win and an away win in the smoke is great

Really?

Totally agree, he should get himself down soho, have a good night out, there’s a peepshow you can visit, if you look on the wall behind the performers there’s a sign that says Rodgers out.

Come to think of it, my eyesight isn’t the best, it could say “todgers out”

I did that once many years ago. I went through a doorway and got "guided" by 2 strapping blokes across a courtyard and into a basement where I  was charged x pounds to go in, then each watery beer cost £5 IIRC and that was 1973.

The peepshow was shite too.

The turnaround in our fortunes has been absolutely remarkable.

Second only to Newcastle in the form table after the start we’ve had. Bonkers.

That's a bold claim.

He’s been praising Big Dan on a weekly basis.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Col has a pic of Big Dan on his bedside table, his love for him has been that strong recently.

The World Cup has probably come at the wrong time for us! We are doing really well at the moment.

Though we weren't at our best, I think we played a good overall game today. Until Maddison got injured we bossed the game and had all the ball. We looked dangerous and deservedly scored. After that we played on the break, and both the penalty we won and the second goal we scored were testament to how well we executed it. We defended well the entire game, and lots of subs had a good impact on the game. Praet was the one who struggled a bit, but no one in our squad right now is playing in the same vein of form as James Maddison, so perhaps that's a little harsh.

@Matttalked about playing a mixed style, so interesting to get your take! Given West Ham are a team that usually put us to the sword, that was a very, very good result.

Absolutely.

So, West Ham away, 3pm, on a Saturday, this was one i'd penciled in at the start of the season, given what we've seen this season and that i've took abit of a step back a few weeks ago, I gave it a miss.

I didn't watch or even listen to any of today - not through choice, I was simply busy.

However, hand on heart last week was the first time in 2 years I can genuinely say I enjoyed watching us play - let me reiterate my issues havn't been about results, winning or losing, the losing strengthened any arguments I had, means there was more mud to flick, but my issues are/were simply how bloody boring we are/were/have been, in recent weeks we've changed, we've been more effective, more efficient and more exciting.

As I said I didn't watch or listen today but looking at the stats, genuine question to those who want to see Pep-ball and laud it's how the game should be played, is there any coincidence whereby we've had less possession than we've been accustomed to in recent weeks, yet we've done more with the possession we have had and as a byproduct been more effective, efficient, successful and exciting for it, incidentally controlling the game where it actually counts, rather than along the back line?
