Danny caught in no mans land for Iran's second. Made it easy for the striker.

And if he stays back he's at fault for not coming out and engaging the striker. Iran were breaking quick 4 on 2, not much he could do about it.

Yes that wasn’t good. Davies could have done better for both goals too. His body shape was wrong on the first one so he couldn’t block it with his leg as he was turning side on. Second one ward and Davies both go for the same block and at least one should have stayed up and made themselves bigger.

Going to be difficult for wales to get through now and England need to win tonight. Wales will be a wounded animal on Tuesday.
If England win tonight they will qualify then Wales will have to beat England either way and hope Iran USA is a draw.

It was four on two. Not really his fault.

Nope - not having that. I like Danny, but I’m not watching through blue coloured spectacles.

There was a covering defender racing to get the block in. DW needs to come decisively or stay where he is and cut down the angles. He did neither.

He very well might have conceded anyway given the nature of the breakaway. All I’m saying is he made the decision making easy for the striker. I’m sticking by that assessment

Kramaric brace against Canada. What were we thinking. Looked very good tonight.

When he first came Pearson tried to play him as a lone striker, when he had only ever played in a two previously, and he struggled to adapt. His move to Hoffeneim was the making of him. Still think he would struggle with the pace of the Premier league even now, but he is a decent finisher.

It kind of worked out alright for us.

As it did for Kramaric.

Not necessarily the wrong place, but certainly the wrong time.

No hard feelings.

Let it go.

Everytime he scores a goal for club or country people bang on about how we should have kept him. He was always going to be behind vardy in the team and he didn't want to play 2nd fiddle. He's also admitted that his failure at Leicester was partly his fault as he wasn't fit enough. People need to get over it. He's had a decent career, doesn't mean he was right for us.

Haha of course. People are just saying it for fun of course. Wouldn’t change a thing. No one would keep Vardy out.

I always remember how people were desperate for Ranieri to give him a chance and when he finally put him in against West Ham in the league cup, the guy gets a one on one with the keeper and instead of slotting it away or even going round him, he tried to chip him and just chipped it into his arms. I think it was the last time he featured and Ranieri came out and said publicly it would best for his career to move on.

File him in the folder that contains Gokhan Inler, Adrien Silva and Ahmed Musa.
