Griezmann needs sorting tout suite

Need to be quicker in the final third and get bodies forward.

Let’s face it Madders should be on second half get a few free kicks outside the box he will score one.

Midfield is the problem, just isn't good enough to have any control and to get the front 3 in space.

You can predict subs now: mount for Henderson, Rashford for Saka, Grealish for Foden and he might chuck Wilson on for last 5 minutes.

France haven't needed to be anything great so far, one good strike is all they've offered.

Henderson needs to come off or Rice and bring on a attacking player like Rashford, Maddsion, Grealish or Sterling, Ive not been impressed with Saka or Foden either

Massive 45 minutes now. Come on England!

All the talk, speculation, build up, records etc come down to this.
Have we got the minerals to get through this tie.

Everything else is bollox

45 second from Saka being fouled (and it was a foul) and the goal yet just as the ball is hitting the net Saka finally makes his way into the frame. I don't think it would have made a differance in France scoring but surely leisurely jogging back just isn't good enough?

Why is that a controversial opinion? Its practically / it is on the line of the 18 yard box?

No it isn't.

It ain't even close.

Hence why VAR waved it away in a matter of seconds.

We might want England to win, but we can't have blatant disregard for the rules.

I dont know, England have been hard done by by the ref, far far more than France. The Kane goal was definitely a foul but as others have said VAR is there for penalty decisions rather than free kicks if its outside the box.

I think it only really appears that way because England have had more ball and France have had to make more tackles so it naturally looks like he's not giving England free kicks.

France have had less ball but when they have had it and their players have gone down in the tackle the ref has mostly just waved it on.

There is no way that Maddison gets on.

None.

He put him in the squad to silence the clamour, which worked.

I see, now that we're going to lose it'll be back to railing against Southgate for not playing Maddison.

Aside from the shocking officiating, we have been far too slow and ponderous in the final 3rd. If only we had a creative, goalscoring, attacking midfielder who can also take set pieces on the bench 🤔
