Last time we played MK Dons in League 1, I couldn’t get a ticket in the away end but my nephew managed to get me a ticket in the home end. Because I was not among “friends” I kept my mouth shut, that is until Max Gradel banged in an equaliser in stoppage time. When it went in nearly all of the stand jumped up

and cheered. Wondering if the same thing might happen this time ?

had the same experience that season but at northampton. I think we got a late equalizer and winner. Some lads turned round to me and my mate and said they knew what we were doing and to be very quiet.

I remember some other foxes getting a battering and getting kicked out in the other stand. We were only 15/16 at the time and i remember thinking we’ve fu**ed it 😂

It’s honestly not worth it, can’t really enjoy yourself but back then that was the only way to catch the game.

Man Utd away 2015/16.  It felt as if half the main stand went up when Wes scored! Everyone calling in favours .

 I got a ticket from my wife's nephew's wife's old business contact.

(Managed to get it as a surprise 60th for me. Speechless)

All the Man U around me wanted us to win the title.

Special season though. Apart from the spurs fans, everyone else wanted us to win. Not sure how many Everton fans were in the away end for that last match either. There was an awful lot of us being rather quiet :D

I've had to be in the away end loads of times. Not stupid so have sat on my hands most of the times, sometimes not.

Sometimes you've just got to go up, regardless. Man U was one of those times but with the instant realisation that you were mostly amongst friends.

It wasn't the Stretford End, but had Manc cousins in there who wanted us to win it that day.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Leicester fans in the home ends especially with the clubs seemingly unwilling to negotiate more tickets for Leicester fans.

As for going in the home ends did it a few times Crewe, Peterborough and going back a few years the baseball ground Derby (Now that was a day to remember).

If you mean roughly 1990 or so, that was an extraordinary day.  We hadn't played them for maybe 15 years, as we kept swapping divisions and missing each other.

Kicking off absolutely everywhere. I was in the popside terrace and suicidally, some city fans went up when we scored.

I was in with the West Brom fans during the great escape season when Vardy scored in the last minute (imagine how hard that was to keep a lid on it!).

Also same situation away at Liverpool on New Year's day that season. 2-0 to awful penalty decisions and then 2 quality goals to level it up. Fist pumped under my seat and got sussed out by the guy next to me in the Kop. Luckily he was too busy slagging off Brendan's team to care about it lol

That was the one I was in the popside and we got escorted out on the running track by the pitch. Also remember the old football specials when we got in the ground early nearly always went in the home ends absolute mayhem sometimes.

Utterly ridiculous this, but as a bizarre observational experience and for a bet, I once went in Pen 1 at Filbert Street for a home game against Chelsea.

I went into the wrong end at the old Ninian Park by mistake. Big terrace alone one side full of Cardiff knuckle draggers. Would've just stayed undercover but I knew that my dad wouldn't be able to keep his opinions in check. Got escorted alongside the pitch into the opposite side. City fans looked at us as if we were top hoolies

I'm pretty sure that Tom and Serge were in the home end and got 'chased' out when we scored the second!

Given that Chelsea were prone to invading all the other pens and the main stand, it may have been a safer place to be!

Me and a mate were in the Stretford End and their fans round us clocked on almost immediately and told us to feel free to celebrate if/when we scored, and that they wanted us to win the league.

Similarly I sat in the Chelsea end next to the dugout for the final match of the title winning season. Their fans were singing more songs about Ranieri than our fans were. They were all loving it and had no problem with us celebrating when Drinkwater smashed one in from outside the box.

I've done it a couple of times.

I was in the Trent End the last time we played Forest in the Premier League, 1999?

And I was in the Holte End at Villa the Premier League winning season.

I had leave the stand to go to the toilet when Mahrez missed a penalty and when Rudi Gestede basically played basketball for their equaliser

I was with a Villa supporting mate and a couple of neutrals for that one!

I was in the QPR side for the one nil win in the championship winning season. That was painful to keep in when Vardy scored against the run of play.

The West Brom great escape and Sputhampton 0-9 will be tough to beat though

I've been to a few in the wrong end. Bournemouth away in 2014 was the best, as we were on a run of nine wins in a row.  Upton Park around 1998 was the worst, as I didn't celebrate when they scored and got punched.  And then they scored another three times.

A few years ago a mate and I had to sit with Baggies fans in the main stand. Now I have lived in Solihull for many years and understand both a Brummie and the much stronger Black Country accent as you can imagine.

I told my friend to just be quiet and under no circumstances pretend to be from anywhere in the West Midlands. Cue him giving a loud attempt at a bloke from West Bromwich trying to order a pie which ended up sounding like a feeble

minded Bristolian.

Tap on my shoulder and guy says “ Ar yow both frum Leicester or is it just the gobby git “
