Popular Post NasPb Posted 9 January 2023 Popular Post Posted 9 January 2023 Ive wanted to write my opinion about this lad given hes from my homeland, but ive been busy lately. Ounahi is a very talented player. I think he would fit right in here. Yes it is true that he isnt much of a goal getter statisically or the best with assists, because both at club and especially international level its not really his job out there. If we were to sign him, hed be a more robust and athletic KDH, with his ceiling potential being Jude Bellingham, if all works out. He has a great engine and motor, never stops running, he defends well, (despite his lack of strength, remember, he is only 22), and is creative, maybe not in the sense of maddison, or tielemans, rather in the sense that he starts attacks and movements. this is why he doesnt get a lot of good stats in the traditional sense of goals and assists. I would definently sign him up. Above all, his mentality is great, and i do reckon he could easily become more of a creative player in a more positive system than at angers. But lets say if he just played the box to box role, he could still become a really great player. Hed be more of an upgrade on KDH than a direct tielemans replacement. him and tielemans simply are different styles. Id love us to sign him, he wouldnt cost too much and he has good values on and off the pitch. Main issue would be rodgers, because as some have noted, rodgers tends to coach the flair out of players. nonetheless its a yes definently for me. before the world cup, i liked him as a prospect, but i was simply worried a bit regarding his strength, and risk taking. ie, was he willing to have that flair and risk taking capacity to take the next step? he was alright under our old coach vahid who was very oldschool and negative. played a very dull formation and didnt allow much creativity. but when he was given more license to play freely both at angers and with us, under regragui, he really excelled. If we are smart we sign him up. Angers are in free fall and will surely go down. 7 3
StanSP Posted 9 January 2023 Posted 9 January 2023 Can't believe we can't get a deal over the line ahead of PSG. What is this club coming to? 1

An Sionnach Posted 9 January 2023 Posted 9 January 2023 KDH would have him for breakfast and still have a full bowl of porridge. We need more lightweights like a hole in the head. 1

It’s not part of plans as PSG follow different kind of strategy under Luis Campos, trusting their own talents. #PSG PSG plan to trust Zaïre-Emery for the future in that position.

ALC Fox Posted 11 January 2023 Posted 11 January 2023 So with Napoli and PSG both in then potentially out of the race, this is potentially back on?

LestaLad Posted 16 January 2023 Author Posted 16 January 2023 So so so frustrating. We apparently offered €18m but Leeds topped us all by offering €25m. So frustrating that we’re just getting beat to signings so easily ffs. 1
Grebfromgrebland Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 We're going down. We need a creative player and 2 defenders that will improve our starting line up. Can't see it happening. Also a goalkeeper without that doesn't matter who else we buy we're screwed.
Sunbury Fox Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 We're now getting outgunned for players by Leeds?!!
Grebfromgrebland Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 Leeds have spent some hefty fees recently. We've done everything on the cheap recently and it shows with the quality of our squad. 1
