Not sure ‘BREAKING NEWS’ is the term I’d use for a player coming back from an injury where the opponent basically tired to break his leg in two but there you go.

Good luck to the lad, Enzo clearly isn’t afraid of playing youth so if he is good enough he’ll play.

Hopefully Caden Voice ends up plying his trade in some random league in Eastern Europe where big scary men clatter into him all the time. Not bitter but Karma is no bad thing

Unfortunately can only give you one rep.

Won’t be seen down Forest Hill as much now then.

To be fair I’d rather have our young lads dealing with their stress on the golf course than in the bars and clubs of Leicester several nights a week like some of the squad last season.

It was posted on here regularly, the local gang. I think only one is still at the club.

One of the very minor blessings of relegation has been the opportunity to give more of a chance to some of our academy prospects, the emergence of Kasey McAteer has been a real bonus, with Wanya, Stolcyrk and Ben Nelson all getting first team minutes this season.

The opportunity to give Alves and Braybrooke time in the 1st team environment in a side that is winning, has a great mentality and also play a high technical game plan will only help both players push on.

Both will provide great options and cover from the bench and if they can come back strong with no long term effects, I can only see both flourishing under Enzo and his coaching team.

Will be interesting to see what position he plays; as others have mentioned he’s played quite a few position but I’d expect him to play at first on the left wing due to his dribbling abilities but perhaps with his new bulked up self could be a no.8 ….

I think he will play in one of the two 8’s.

I think he would excel there as well. You’ve got to think he’s playing N’didi there….. so we can’t consider the argument of being played out of position! He will end up being fairly versatile I think, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see him used centrally to begin with.

The club has definitely worked on that with him before his injury but I wasn’t sure if it was more to do with his development rather than a permanent position change. He’ll have to get stuck in that’s for sure. Just hope we don’t rush him

Do we know what his contract situation is? If he's as good as most seem to be saying then the club are going to need to be very mindful of the circling sharks that need to ensure they don't get too many Leicester City's

It's really common for returning players coming back from ACLs to get set backs in the form of other injuries as they try and adjust, over compensate, learn to have confidence in the knee again.

People still going to need to be a little patient.

Great to see this show of faith though from Enzo.

Hat-trick on Championship debut

I fully expect him to start V’s QPR, put in a performance that leaves people absolutely baffled, and then Chelsea to submit a bid by half time.

It’s really not.

The best academies are generally attached to Premier League clubs and we run the risk of losing our prospects to these clubs just as we do our first team players as a result of relegation.

If they’re good enough then they’ll find a way through. Effective use of the loan market would enable exactly the same thing. Barnes, Chilwell, Choudhury and KDH all prospered after Championship loans.

Dropping down divisions will ensure that these players have a quicker route into the first team, but this is born out of necessity and the poorer standard of the teams around us. It’s not a sustainable model if we want the club to prosper

I think they mean dropping down for 1-2 seasons only.

The irony is we got Trey Nyoni poached off us and he's doing well in Liverpool's academy but there's every chance he'd have got promoted to the 1st team under Maresca and his route to 1st team football is solidified.
