Bit off point but how can Chris Wood say the atmosphere in the dressing room has completely changed since Howe came in!!! The bellend was at Burnley at the time!

The envy of Newcastle fans having a gaffer like Howe. What I’d give to have that feeling of pride in a manager and team that go out with the intent to deliver for the fans.

Lost to a team whose manager gets the best out of average players and who the players want to give 100% for. It makes a difference at this level.

So, basically polar opposite to our "Elite" manager then..

Also wonder how the atmosphere in the changing room would be if they live streamed their employer’s executions on a regular basis.

I remember feeling that in December 2019, Howe will get a bad run at some stage, more likeable when it happens.

Our regained form before the WC was we began attacking as a unit and defending as a unit, and with energy, today was totally different, and without maddison I don't think we stood a chance. Soumare needs to go, I'd rather see Mendy in that role, Daka, I think you can only measure a striker on the chances he has, and he didn't have many.

Negatives - Amartey, Thomas, Soumare.

Positives - Faes, Castagne, Tielemens.

Rodger’s tactics were once again all wrong trying to play out from the back, and despite us continuously running into a brick wall he failed to mix it up and utilise our pace. His  inability to change things at all  show his failings as a Manager it’s so fcuking frustrating.

A 3rd minute penalty shell shocked us but it’s about how you react, the sloppy 2nd goal was the killer. We needed to settle down and get into the game, shocking from Thomas falling for a give and go, it was b****y obvious.

However well Newcastle played doesn’t excuse our sloppiness, awful passing, Soumare undoing his previous few games progress by letting players run off him again and just having a strange interpretation of what’s going on around him.

Missed Madison and didn’t utilise the space out wide.

If Youri thinks he’s putting himself in the shop window at half price he’s as appealing as a 2022 calendar or a remote control toy with the remote missing.

I was gutted earlier that Covid stopped travelling to the game - but worked out well!

Very poor start to the game. The team were still on holiday. A gutting week after what happened to Alves.

Easily the worst performance of the season. Liverpool boxing day vibes 2019

That was what I was thinking. I think we got stuffed in the game after that swell that doesn't bode well.

I doubt he could do much better with today's first 11

The manner of the defeat was poor, but no need to moan just yet, if we go on another bad run after today then the moaning and concerns will justifiably start again

Yes, I get where you're coming from and I sympathise with the view. I think we're all afraid of 'it happening again and shipping a shed full v Liverpool.

from Southgate to Rodgers

watching football is so miserable

Amartey still in the dressing room when the game started. Needs smelling salts before a game starts.

Thomas and Barnes went on the pitch knowing their opposite number had them in their pocket. Played like pussies.

Soumare on the beach

TIELEMANS playing at walking pace and overthinking his contribution. Just go already if youre going. Captaining nothing.

Praet stank.

Daka, KDH, Vardy, Perez, Faes Put in a shift at least. But we had no plan and no energy.

What Rodgers has been doing for 6 weeks i have no idea. It certainly wasnt thinking 'how do i hit the league hard when we come back, what wont the opposition be expecting and how can i shuffle my pack to take advantage?'
