Firstly I'd like to thank the club from banning me so I didn't have to travel to watch that. Good to know the club has it's priorities in place. I'd hate anyone to think the playing squad is massively underperforming this season...

Secondly, I thought that was a fairly even game. That is, if you ignore how Newcastle were stronger, hungrier, better organised and actually intent on winning a game of football. I'd make some joke about an Xmas hangover but I honestly don't think our players could even be arsed to get pissed up properly on that showing. I'd also like to joke about how we can't compete with Newcastle, but their starting XI today will be laughed about in 3 years time. As for us, that was worryingly reminiscent of the first quarter of the season.

Anyway, well done Newcastle. Hopefully we'll be a sportswashing project before long. I've always felt out owners need to murder more people. Hey, we could clear some serious deadwood 🤪

Buzzing for Liverpool 🤗

Cant wait for everyone to suck the guy off when he goes 10 0 0 against Liverpool and people call it a great performance despite showing no ambition to leave our half.

That performance summed the man up. Abaolutely spineless and so weak.

Like the heroic game against man City

Like the beach landings that one

That's only because they basically played in first gear as the game was won.

Always the same in any game when we're a couple of goals down, we end up having a half decent spell then we have fans claiming we've done well (Not that Stan has there).

That was really bad. But we’ve seen it before. It was never meant to happen again after bournemouth or Newcastle or Brighton. We are just a poorly ran football club who are now truly accepting embarrassment as normal.

Pathetic!

Unforgiveable to be sent out so under-cooked and so lacking in desire.

I was really looking forward to this and you can rely on the 'ever obliging' to let you down and fail to even make a contest out of it.

Whatever happens with Rodgers, he must go down as a success but it really feels like his race is run and the sooner we part company the better.

Lampard will be gone soon so if we want choice of managers, now would be a good time to make the change

You reckon Everton would go for Rodgers? With my blessings. Don't care who we get to replace him, we need a refresh.

Brendan Rodgers cannot be our manager next season, I can't stress it enough. The players going out the door and the amount we need to bring in, we'd do catastrophic damage to the club letting him oversee it.

Only one word for it really; pathetic.

So, I've said it before and I'll say it again, we must have the least intelligent players in the Premier league. The amount of passes straight to them, the lack of awareness, the speed of how we react to situations, the ignoring of the simple through ball, the fact that no-one really wants the ball especially at throw ins and just general lack of intelligence. If we take Madders out of our team it's thick as....

Wait until they're relegated before we get rid of him. Then we won't have to listen to him next season either.

Utter crap… glad I left at half time as I’ve just had enough of this shite. Season ticket is getting sacked off next season, I’m done with it and glad to be.

Disgraceful performance. Yes most of the team were shite but seriously Tielemans wants to play for a Champions League club? 😂

Steaua Bucharest might fancy it

That's what happens when a few players don't switch on from the first minute. The game is gone before its begun.

Amartey, Thomas, Soumare and Daka were the main culprits today. Not much Rodgers could have done after the way the team started.

Think Barnes was terrible today too. First touch non-existent and had no buzz or positive contributions.

As bad as the result was, the worst thing for me was how little fight there was

I agree. No desire or intent. Just sideways passing and then giving it away cheaply.
