It's not the fans that it needs to get through to

Totally agree but given up even hoping anything will happen.Keep saying to myself, lose at Brentford and he will definitely be gone, but then who am I kidding. Said it so many times this season already.

Not a very attractive proposition to spunk the best part of £50 on watching this gutless shit is it.

The complete lack of action from the board is being met by a similar apathy from the fans.

Are we even in a relegation scrap?

Doesn't there have to be some fight for it to be a scrap - The majority of this team are pretty gutless

We can blame Rodgers, players or the owners but I think the current situation for us has just increased the general malaise of the game in general. As gloomy as it is at the moment, ultimately the catalyst for me is the way the game is 'managed' now. The inconsistancy of VAR, the time wasting and 'head' injuries with the ref playing along (Arsenal has almost made me turn my back on it) are making the expense and effort no longer worthwhile not helped by some of our own fans telling others to 'shush'. So grim. It's almost becoming unwatchable. I'll keep going (for now) because my seat is already paid for but I'm not far away from giving up which is sad and painful. If the club don't care then why should I?

Yes, you make some good and valid points. Maybe it's an age thing but it's all very overhyped like a lot of things. I have however recently got quite a bit of pleasure and enjoyment from more grassroots semi professional football.

People are scared that if we stay up it means more Rodgers, essentially ruining football forever.

There may be some feeling that the only way we get rid of the useless twonk is relegation and a fresh start.

Not saying it's right but the thought of Rodgers being in that dugout next season just kills any enthusiasm I've got.

I think Rodgers will be off in the Summer.

Even if we stay up, he knows that without Maddison and Tielemans, and effectively without a Vardy of old ... the situation will be even worse next season (if that's possible!) ... and he'll be looking for a way out..

It’s probably a useful time to start submitting feedback to the club on the singing section for example ([email protected]), with it being the back end of the season. I included this email address on a separate post and thread but thought it was worth a mention in here too. Personally hope to see the section remain next season and the feedback received will clearly be decisive.

The club may ask for general views at some stage anyway, as they did last summer through email communication. This is the club’s own wording at the time… we are also extremely interested to get further input from our supporters on the matchday atmosphere at King Power Stadium. Such feedback and subsequent consultation have led to a season-long trial of the popular Singing Section in SK1. We fully appreciate that participation in the creation of a vibrant and positive matchday atmosphere that aids the team on the pitch means different things to different people, so we will be reaching out to you all over the summer to invite you to contribute to the discussion. If you prefer to provide your input by email, we would welcome that equally.

I think and hope by the time of the next home game it will have hit people that that's the situation we're in.

We've got to put anger at Rodgers and the board to one side temporarily and make sure as supporters we do everything we can for the rest of the season to keep OUR club up now, although whatever happens from now on the inquest needs to be immediate when the final whistle blows after West Ham (if we're still capable of staying safe by then!).

Good point about the next home game. Quite a good chance we're in the bottom three for our next home game - coincidentally it's on the same date as the West Ham game in 2015 where everything seemed to pick up.

If only this current side had even 1% of the fight we had back then we might be ok.

I think I've spent too much time on FT this week.

Last night I had a dream that we sacked off WYS just before kick-off and changed it to Robbie Williams - Angels (I don't know either). However everyone in the ground sang it and we got lauded for making the best football atmosphere ever and we stayed up and on the last home game of the season we all held hands and sang it.

BR was still in charge though and then I woke up in a bit of a sweat.

I keep dreaming that i am dating the lady from Jatdogs profile picture.

Christ, I think 30k of us all trying to hit *that* note in the chorus would cause every building in Leicester to collapse.

I’ll hold your hand and sing Robbie Williams songs if it means we stay up.

Ironically Robbie Williams stole Angels off a little Irish fella

Another ban to the UFS lot. Club pushing the section yet systematically one by one taking out the drivers. 🤷🏻‍♂️

What are their reasons?

Honestly not trying to offend the older fans but just curious as to why for example Newcastles away end is full of young lads and middle aged men and our ends seem to have a lot of older fans?

Standing on seats.

If they know standing on the seats results in a ban, why do they keep standing on the seats?

The fans definitely got behind the team today as you could see the players were trying. Souttar song took off as he was superb and an oldie in ‘We love you’ was sung with vigour

Pipes said several times how loud it sounded.
