We were better tonight but Liverpool missed plenty of sitters in the second half. We didn’t really look like getting back into the game which is a shame.

Put Maddison in for Perez and we’re surely getting something from that game.
 

A real lack of quality with the ball really shows against the better teams because we don’t really have the pace or physicality that others have. We have to be good on the ball but the final ball today was poor almost every single time.

Should have won the game and did better than I thought considering the poor side we have out.

 

In reality, we need a lot of changes in transfer window. Not sure if Brendan is the man on his past transfers to do this.

Honestly it was a poor-quality games with errors all over the place

But we just played a Liverpool side who could have played all night without scoring

And somehow lost 2-1

 

We only made 3 subs out of a possible 5.

Only senior non-defender not used was Albrighton

Shows how weak our squad is at the moment.

Really frustrating, didn’t deserve to loose.   
 

We were a bit too wasteful when we were in good positions and I would of like to have seen a bit more urgency at the end.

First half was good apart from wouts defending. 

Second half we offered very little. 

Lucky not to concede a couple more and some terrible defending. 

We can't keep relying on vardy. His legs have gone and if daka is out for a bit we have anissue there. 

Saying that. Probably won't get the chance to play against Liverpool looking that bad again.

What is it nowadays with refs basing decisions on players pantomime ability? In the VAR era we should be looking at this and letting games flow when it's clearly a dive or timewaste.

Very wasteful going forward. Which is a shame because we should be capitalising on teams that look sloppy at the back. 

 

Barnes had a shocker. He needs to find his form sharpish. Vardy was fairly quiet. Iheanacho didn't do much when he came on. It would have been a different game totally if we had a bit more confidence going forward as there were quite a few openings and clear spaces.
