David Hankey Posted 1 January 2023 Posted 1 January 2023 Rumour has it that BR is planning on playing Faes upfront now he has the taste for goals.

Dickov22 Posted 1 January 2023 Posted 1 January 2023 HAS to be two up front. Cannot expect an almost 36 year old to lead the line on his own. It’s just not fair.

We don’t have anybody else if Daka is injured…. Rodgers clearly isn’t a fan of Iheanacho so no chance he’s playing up front on his own. HAS to be a front two

Guest Col city fan Posted 1 January 2023 Posted 1 January 2023 This is a huge game for the club I think. And it wouldn’t surprise me to see us lose it
Aus Fox Posted 2 January 2023 Posted 2 January 2023 I think we’ll win this one, we’ve played two games since the restart against teams who will be in the Top 4 at the end of the season. Now playing at home against the teams we should be competing with for league positions when May comes around. We know we can compete and get results against them. As someone else has said we need the ground to be loud and back the lads and I believe they will get us the three points we need.

FoxyJim1987 Posted 2 January 2023 Posted 2 January 2023 This is an absolutely massive massive game, cannot be understated. For so many reasons. Firstly if we lose, it will be 3 losses in a row, and potentially another run like the beginning of the season staring us in the face. Injuries, even to squad players like Praet and Daka are a blow because we cannot rotate as heavily or rest as many for the cup games we have coming up. Forest away after says it all. I mean if we are being hugely doom and gloom we could be bottom 3 and out of both cups by the end of Jan. No I'm not saying this WILL happen but it's a possibility. Forest away after a loss v Fulham will be 6 pointer stuff, and at home they can give anyone a game. They've beaten Liverpool and drew with Chelsea at home, and will be desperate to beat us. Then we have another local away day at Villa. Being cut off from the rest of the league is another possibility. Villas win means there's a gap now and if that gets bigger we are resigned to a lower bottom half scrap of not worse, which would be dismal. Fulham are are a very very tidy side. I worry for us I really do. They have height and weight at set pieces, they have quick technical players and they have Mitrovic, and high confidence. We are missing Maddison greatly and need him back asap.
Nick Posted 2 January 2023 Posted 2 January 2023 Hoping Madders will play a part tomorrow - Fulham will score so we need at least a couple of goals to beat them I would think.

RoboFox Posted 2 January 2023 Posted 2 January 2023 So not excited about this. Horrid. Anyone else just feeling really flat about the club at the moment? 2

No chance according to brendan - made a point of saying that he hadn’t played for eight weeks or trained properly for three. he won’t be in full training until some time next week 1
