You can't underestimate the value of the Kasper, Morgan, Vardy backbone to that team we had for years. They'll always Soumare and Faes types who either don't care enough or just simply play for themselves. Every team has a few. The difference is now our squad is full of them with not enough leaders, identity or a core who are Leicester. They'll mostly be off next year anyway so who cares. 

 

PSR is kind of making this the case now for a lot of clubs. If you have to sell your only local players to makes ends meet then what identity are you left with? It'll just be a revolving door of nothingness now.

Major stretch to consider Horsfall an expert, btw. He completely butchered Coulibaly’s name (it starts with a “C” 😂) and he seemed to talk about a Parma club that resembles nothing at all like the club after reformation in 2015. Otherwise, it was another very enjoyable listen— Lee’s Who Are Ya performance was on a different level.

I loved listening to the podcast, that 2 hrs flew by.

The main problems the club have imo is PSR restrictions, and that's because of our wage bill, and why is that so bad? Probably because of Rudkin. Everything does all stem from those issues as far as i can see. The Cooper appointment and the strategy to get in PL experience couldn't have gone more wrong, we'll never know if there was better options. I do feel for Ruud, i think the appointment of ruud was another mistake, we needed a senior experienced manager (i wanted rafa).

I think the Bilal decision was a change of formation to try and make something happen but probably wasn't the right one, as Ruud has highlighted, we seem to be only able to play 1 way. Ruud did seem to hint at players not putting in a shift, I hold Mavididi to blame for that 2nd goal as he didn't track back. I think he needs to be dropped and we should try a wing back system now. I hear BDCR get a lot of stick, but he never really gets many minutes, perhaps he's worth a look at? 

No idea where the club goes from here, think we should keep the young players unless they want to leave and tell the more senior players to find another club, wasn't good if Ayew was patting the badge to the Palace fans.

The podcast embraced everything that we are thinking. The club is rudderless. Glad Top's position/attitude was discussed. Here in Italy they say the fish rots from the head down. Need new owners, nothing more, nothing less. Rudkin and Whelan are going nowhere whilst King Power are there. Thanks for everything chaps, you gave us more than we can ever have imagined but now it's time to start not a new chapter but a new book.

Impressed with restraint shown by  @Ric Flair on the bevy front lol

One of the best. There's nothing like a dose of genuine anger to provide a bit of bite. We all need a bit of catharsis at times like this, and that episode provided it.

 

Sadly I agree with Jake (at least I think It was him) when he said that the club's response to the protest is very unlikely to be a positive one. There is nothing in the way they've treated fans over the past few years to suggest they'll listen or make changes. More likely they'll double-down on their current approach while privately complaining bitterly about what snivelling little ingrates we all are. I hope I'm wrong.

Now I don’t even get a “Who are ya?” When I listen to the pod! Rudkin out! And take the board with you… unless you can provide us a new who are ya?

 

Another good pod lads, even without the best part. Pretty much agree with most of what was said again.
