That is quite possibly one of the worst 45 minutes of football I have ever seen us play. Zero quality or creativity, so slow and laboured in possession. Playing with no intensity and mainly looking for Brunt to be our creative force with hopeful balls into box. Vardy and Kels feeding off scraps against the team bottom of league 2. 
 

Nobody can seriously defend Rodgers and say this isn’t his tactics or preferred style of play as we see if all too often. This is as piss poor as anything served up by Puel.

They are the chosen ones whenever we're short, I can only think its based on physicality and minimal league experience they have. Braybrooke/Alves are the ones from the current group.

Got five credit to Gillingham. So so compact and very little space to operate in the final third. Disappointing we’ve had zero creativity but it’s not easy when you have 4 players standing on the toes of 5. We just don’t have the players that you fancy to take these sorts of games on, too many fairies.
 

Worried that they could get something from a bouncing ball in the box but as the games goes on they should tire physically and mentally to open up spaces. Just hope we show a little quality to take advantage

They are probably playing against a level of opponent today that they will for the majority of their careers. They might make it as high as the Championship with a little luck and hard work but they’ll never be Premier League players.
