FosseSpark Posted 10 January 2023 Posted 10 January 2023 Villa shithoused a two legged win when we were the better side. So why not. I just cant see it happening unless we pull a worldy performance out of thin air.

Join me on the ‘Hopefully’ bus tonight. Did that bus not swerve into an electric pylon, bounce off it into a petrol tanker and then nose dive off a cliff only to land in a huge McDonalds cow pat that set off a methane explosion under happy Brendans express tours.

filthyfox Posted 10 January 2023 Posted 10 January 2023 Will we have a frail and slow front line... Or the lightning that is the Dakanacho show?

None of our problems are his fault, it's financial constraints which come from a one Family investment apparently.

I do wonder if the pressure will get to them. Agree. Absolutely zero pressure on us tonight too, which is when we've notoriously crumbled in the past (and to be fair, this group has had countless QFs in the past few years, so this is not a big game for us). You never know...

Scott Taylor was literally in tears after the game if I remember right. Worked out that my ptsd memory was from a decade earlier where we turned a 4-2 lead into a 5-4 loss …..

Guest worth_the_wait Posted 10 January 2023 Posted 10 January 2023 Optimistic thought ... teams that play each other in the league and cup in quick succession, often reverse the result in the 2nd match.
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 10 January 2023 Posted 10 January 2023 Just looked at the odds Newcastle around about 1/2 to win while we're about 6/1 to win. Looks like the bookies don't rate our chances

TheLittleBigMan Posted 10 January 2023 Posted 10 January 2023 Can't believe everyone's cracking a stiff over Newcastle like they're some kind of other worldly team compared to us and we have zero chance of anything but a defeat. They are dog sh*t. 0-2.
