Absolute shocking decision for him to go. Can’t blame him for wanting more game time, Rodgers should have used him more

all you have to do is see the impact Albrighton has made the few games he’s played to know how Bizare Rodgers’ decision to not play him  much has been…

I'm gutted but I still think we had to let him go.  Some players are happy to sit on the bench for a couple of years, making the occasional appearance, and enjoying the legend status, like Fuchs, Morgan, Shinji - but Albrighton made it clear in his interview that he wasn't enjoying that.  He wants to play, and he wants his kids to watch him play, rather than them not bothering because he's not in the starting line up.   I expect the arrival of Tete was the last straw. From our point of view it would be great to have him on the bench just in case, but that wouldn't be fair on him.  And I still really rate him as a player, he's not done yet. I met him once - really nice bloke - so I'm glad he'll get to play every week again.

That said, I agree we should have played him more.

My partner when she found out Marc was going out on loan “what the xxx. I’ve always defended Brendan Rogers but now this. Albrighton always gives everything and we look better when he is playing. Best crosser in the team but doesn’t get a game.. Xxxxxxx little xxxxx”. Not happy today. Similar reaction when kasper left.

It's actually a genius move from the club.

Gives Sharky a chance to experience the Championship and have a bit of a scout of the division.

Ready for August, when he's captaining us against Rotherham.

I still think Rotherham will go down 😭

I hope we do see him in one last game in foxes shirt. Even if its testimonial, which I'm sure he's due one.

Vardy and Schmeichel never got one. Can't remember the last time I saw a player testimonial tbf.

I actually think they might be saving things for a “league winners” testimonial.

Would sell out no problem at all!

Could combine the likes of Vardy, Kasper, Wes, Marc, Kingy…. Invite a few of the others back… play Chelsea perhaps and get them to give Hazard a call? ;)

Yes I work in marketing lol

Sorry ..there is another high % of fans that didn’t want him back in the side…

So please don’t use this to hang Rodgers..Bizare is a strange turn of word on this theme…Bizare it took too long to bounce him out  ,or that he has now just gone.

Jeezus Rodgers should have played him more, Rodgers working hard to get rid of the title winning side, the state of this place.

People really wanted Sharky over Maddison on the right?

We won the title in the 2015/16 season that’s 7 seasons ago, 7, for the love of god!

There are 2 players left from the Chelsea squad that won a year later & 1 of those was RLC who only played 6 games the other being Kante

Jump to recent Man City winners in 18/19 just 2 n abit seasons ago there’s only something like 7 left from that squad

Last couple of seasons before this one, whenever we were going through a bad patch, Rodgers would turn to Albrighton and we'd invariably turn things around. Not this season however, despite him being made VC. Yet another bizarre chapter to the Brendan Rodgers saga.

Looks like we let him go because we thought Harrison was over the line. School boy error once again.

Looks like Leeds pulled the plug during the middle of his medical at seagrave, as it was so late in the day they probably thought he’d breeze the medical let’s get Marc his loan done and everything will be sweet just didn’t bank on Leeds f’ing us and Harrison about at that time

I absolutely will use it to ‘hang’ Rodgers because it’s 100% true. He’s had a big impact the few games he’s played. It would be foolish of anyone to deny that.

Vestergaard and Bertrand milking the club for every penny whilst Albrighton gets moved on. F@cking bizarre like Kasper and Fuchs moving on. Rogers has certainly ripped out the clubs DNA....tosser

Fuchs moved on because he wanted to live in America with his family, it was very public.

And Kasper was a top earner on a very long decline who wanted champions League football which was also stated publicly....

But don't let facts get in the way of your wild  narrative

Maybe we will see something organised for the 10th anniversary would love to see 2015-16 reunite for one last game. Of course I doubt Mahrez would get involved but maybe to just the numbers, perhaps Cambiasso and Nugent who of course part of that journey the season before in the great escape. But that's for another discussion.
