Larry_LCFC Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Cant fault the starting lineup but ultimately it will boil down to tactics. Sit back and soak pressure up will end in disaster. Give them both barrells and we might just win 1
Corky Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Good selection. Will be extremely tough but at least we should create oportunities. 1
fazzyfox Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 We kept Kane quiet last week, Rashford is a different challenge running in behind and arguably the more in form of the two (and would be my pick if England had a game right now.) Not sure we can keep him out for 90, sorry Old Trafford isn’t it, 99 minutes, but can manage a 1-1 or even 2-1 win.

Unless of course, not changing the team can be spun as stubbornness... My application for spokesman of the rabid, hypercritical, treasonous flith was sadly rejected but I'd go as far as to suggest the stubbornness criticism was in the context of losing matches and playing poorly. 1
lgfualol Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Thank god he's not tinkered. Had visions of Daka up top. Bench looking good finally.

Royston. Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 The instant Mendy makes a bad pass Tielemans will be warming up 2
fazzyfox Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Devastating injury news for us as bomb-scare Maguire is ruled out

majaco Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Promising team. Good players on the bench but the bench also reflects the imbalance of the squad. Hopefully in the summer, recruitment will include wide players.

StanSP Posted 19 February 2023 Author Posted 19 February 2023 Forgot they had Sabitzer. Wonder if Rashford/Fernandes will last the whole game. Guess they will want to get the game done so they can bring them off. Hopefully we can stop that happening and make it difficult for them.
LCFCJohn Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Pleased he has gone unchanged. It may or may not work as each game is different but at least it is rewarding the performances from last week and not being the likes of Tielemans back in because of his name.
RoboFox Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Casemiro and Martial missing is a big blow for them. Maguire missing is a big plus for them. Swings and roundabouts. We can pump this lot, that United team ain't all that.
adejo92 Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Couldn't have picked a better lineup given availability and current form. My main worry is going to be Garnacho Vs Castagne. I think Garnacho is going to expose him a lot today.

whoareyaaa Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Nice he has stuck with the same team, looking forward to this.

The one thing I've noticed with this Utd side more recently is that they don't give up and do tend to score or create chances right til the end. Against Fulham and Leeds they've picked up late victories. They seem to score a lot in the final 15 minutes of games.
