Well I really don't know what to think about that. Could be a very important point and one against a team with a good home record at that, but at the same time there is a part of me that thinks it's basically the worst possible outcome in that it neither does a great deal to improve our situation nor gets Rodgers out the door ahead of the break. Performance likewise - second half was a marked improvement on most of what we've seen recently and for once we didn't totally wilt in the face of adversity, but still we didn't create a great deal or look especially likely to score a second.

 

The subs though, ****ing hell. Tete finally getting into a game that was looking increasingly stretched, promptly taken off for the least threatening "winger" in history. Ndidi off is fair enough if he was feeling an injury but Soumare over Mendy? Vardy our most used substitute this season apparently despite contributing nothing in pretty much every one of his appearances, with Iheanacho given one of his classic 5-10 minute cameos.

Not sure what to make of that. Getting the draw I think now ours paid to any notion that BR may get the boot so we are not with him for the season.

 

At this stage we needs wins if we are to get out of this so feels like the worst result in some ways.

...Brentford did seem made for us, very predictable and they need a creative player to help with breaking on the counter!!!

  We were very much the team most likely to win the game,  not sure why anyone should fear playing Brentford, no guile in their team, you see balls being lifted in our box and it was meat and drink for our defenders.

Good point? We were playing Brentford not Barcelona. A couple of seasons ago this would have been hugely disappointing.

No it wouldn't ever since they've been promoted they've been tough to beat at home
