Because players react to coaches at the same level as them. It’s easy to lose top players as they’re used to much better. He’s clearly not elite level which is why he’s more suited to manage a club like us.

Their club is even more of a basket case than ours, in fairness. Lots of pissed off players who think they are world class that aren’t even in the 25 man squad nevermind the team, they will have overlapping friendship groups, bound to be toxic until they can offload everyone they replaced last window 2
