Potter's not horrible enough!.

We need a hard bast*rd ... someone who can shake this liver lilly'd lot up a bit

Potter won't keep us up.

Please NO!!!!

That is a pretty reasonable assessment, I think.

You never really heard much of him when he was at Brighton, but with the huge media exposure at Chelsea he was a lot more visible…and came across as a bit of tool.

Definitely need an angry type to get us going

Basically this. Potter will want a break

he doesn’t sound like the sort. I read an article about his mrs fuming because he spent his whole holiday obsessing over football. The guy lives and breathes it.

If he likes the project i think he’d jump in. He probably realises how poisoned the chelsea chalk ace was. if he got us creating the ammount of chances they do i’d bet we’d be burying she’d loads.

Not sure Potter is the man for an instant impact, get-us-out-of-the-sh!t kind of job. But I'd 100% take him in the summer.

He's the kind of manager that needs time, though, and after Rodgers I think the majority of our fanbase is out of patience.

I would be surprised if Potter is not considered. Failure at Chelsea doesn't mean a huge amount IMO and he did well at Brighton without a huge amount of money which will appeal to the board. I should imagine he might want a rest rather than going from the frying pan into the fire!

Considered? Rudkin and Whelan will be blowing the blokes phone up as we speak.

jobs his if he wants it.

De Zerbi has just continued the same trajectory no? I thought Potters sides created a lot of chances but struggled to score. To me that doesn't seem like a tactical issue, more of a coaching one which admittedly he has to hold some responsibility for that aswell

Brighton were average last season. 9th in the league, 8th for xGD.

I can’t find the table from when Potter left but I’m fairly sure they’ve kicked on under RDZ

Yeah, and ideally you'd also need a manager willing to buy in to that philosophy.

Potter does at least represent consistency in that sense.

I know the majority of this forum want us press like crazy and play more like a Klopp imitation than a Guardiola one but I don't think we necessarily have the squad for that.

I’m concerned Potter’s methods take time (which we don’t have), and yes he did well with Brighton on the whole but they also had some Rodgers like dire spells. I’m not convinced, but I can see why the board would go for him.

If the powers that be care anything about the club they would be going 100% all out for Potter now.

Come on Susan. Come on Top.

Get this done now.

This has to happen fast.

Had to check I hadn't missed something with all the Potter talk and so yeah he's been sacked then lol

Can see him taking over in the summer maybe if we stay up but too soon I'd think right now.

I like him but he’s from the same brand of soft cocks as Rodgers ain’t he? I fear the team need a bit of psychopath to get them going.

What's Martin Allen doing these days?

When rodgers was under pressure previously, Potter was always heavily linked, so I wouldn't be surprised if we went in for him now.

My initial thought is potter would not come. However, the only reason there could be something in it is the fact they have both been sacked in same day. Perhaps discussions have already started?

if discussions have not started yet then it will be a no go I think

People saying no to Potter need serious help.
