And pay them 75% of what we'd paid them in wages (and the rest of the squad still here/not left on a free) and we'd still be challenging top 10 in the PL I'm convinced of it.

We should have leaned heavily toward performance related pay.

The biggest problem was not what we paid our best players but how we remunerated some of our “squad” players, when you put it into context we were shelling out around £400k per week …..£20m per year in wages to Daka, Soumare, Hamza, Ward, Vesty and Bertrand, absolutely criminal that is the problem. compounded by also deciding to shift away from our supposed model, elite level financial mismanagement.

LCFC sets the standard for transfer business

Player Bought for Leave
Youri Tielemans £38m Free
Ayoze Perez £28m Free
Islam Slimani £26m Free
Kelechi Iheanacho £23m Free
Caglar Soyuncu £18m Free
Adrien Silva £18m Free
Dennis Praet £17m Free
Nampalys Mendy £12m Free
Filip Benkovic £12m Free

Not that £7m makes a difference in the days of PSR 🙃, wasn't Tielemans £45m?

Must also point out that Atletico Madrid got Soyuncu on a free and then sold him for £8m to Fenerbahce..

Everton's DOF giving an update - it can be done!

Great shame our DOR does not tell the fans what’s going on

I really hope he doesn't do what he did  last time we were relegated. When we sacked  Rodgers with 9-ish games to go and then bring in a caretaker manager.

It's like he will carry on with ruud - if results don't happen - then panic late on

1st - the silly protest failed as so pathetic and will only have strengthened the board’s resolve.

A mature approach through supporters groups would be taken more seriously.

2nd - Rudkin inherited a fantastic player infrastructure created by Walsh and Pearson.

NP saw through JR (The shister Brenda loved him!!)

Kante was being scouted when Claudio arrived, he didn’t want him. It was Shakeys daily persistence that finally got CR to change his mind.

The squad has deteriorated since then. JR deserves zero credit for winning the league or his 6 figure bonus that year.

He hasn’t got away scot-free. His family home has been targeted over the 10 years (all sorts through his letterbox pre security gates) as has his kids at school and him with family on holiday etc etc

He is out of his depth as DOF, there’s still a job at KP as he seems to be involved in everything inc buying horses!! I

Time an age ago to replace him. Sadly selfie mob rule never works particularly in Thai culture

Those holding the crayoned banner don’t look the sharpest to be fair and wouldn’t be taken seriously

The protest was not "silly", nor has it "failed".

It has drawn national - perhaps even global - attention to the discontent that exists within sections of the City fanbase.

And that discontent will remain for as long as the current "director of football" remains in his post.

Promoted several levels beyond his capabilities, Rudkin has sought to hide his glaring inadequacies by over-indulging key personnel at the club.

His persistence with Brendan Rodgers two seasons ago and, with Jamie Vardy now, are just two examples of his severely limited powers of judgement.

But he will not enjoy the spotlight that is now being shone upon him.

Foxes must take every opportunity to advise him that the spotlight will not go away, until he does!

TNT and MOTD both mentioned the protest in the ground after 14 minutes.

It appeared to be very small scale though, there was only one banner, and nothing vocal could be heard on the TV broadcast, it looked like about 10 people in total were protesting.

Rudkin was also being credited by TNT for the recruitment of our PL win😂

Bad publicity means everything to king power, and yesterday signs of the protest were all over the media and TV coverage. This will be picked up on and KPFC will hate every bit of it.

But our fan base is largely pathetic and would happily watch the club burn to the ground, provided they had a nice day out and got a free cake, washed down with a free beer all whilst sat wearing their immoral football shirts…..

Where's the £10m money from cannon sale gone then?

Not spent it have we, imagine sellling a striker we’ll need next season. We’re a shambles.

If we had conceded an early goal it would have gone off. The chanting against Fulham (which was loud and spread around different stands) was triggered by conceding.

Let's see on Friday.

If the powers that be still don't get it (and I'm convinced that they don't) this list should be made into a huge tifo, displayed at home games.

The fans are right to pissed of with him.

Sold cannon in January and knowing we need a striker, not a single replacement was found in the 6 months leading up to the January window closing?

Surely there is an up and coming striker in the leagues out there that we can take a chance on then

If we haven't got the money and we need the money then just say.

Pretty much any one of those would walk into our current team.

We won the premier league and all that and the FA Cup and get free beer for birthdays so shut the f up.

We have the best supporter groups who fight for the best sandwiches in meetings and we give points to any club in need of them

We also have Pukka pies back so fans need to wind their necks in.

We were in league one you know
