If these rumours about a new Thai ownership come to fruition, I think we might see an argument for a fans club appear in the pyramid.

Where are these rumours coming from?

Very premature

it’s clear that king power no longer have the finances to move the club forwards (stadium development being the clearest example)

if Top decides to sell out or bring in new investment then we’d need to see what level of finance these people have and if they make changes at board level etc which are sorely needed.

We will see. But if this club is effectively going to be used as a sport washing arm of Thailand, then I'll be off. The names speculated are bigger money but again their fortune is from beneficial agreements with the Thai government.

Given the stadium has been on more than one occasions used as a place of political meetings, I can see some truth in it.

I’ve long assumed that if the current owners do sell, they will only do it to another Thai businessman.

This isn’t about Leicester City, it is about Thailand.

The genie left the bottle some time ago

sadly you can be mid table championship or join the rest of the ultra wealthy ownership in the PL.  there aren’t many blooms/benhams out there and they will no doubt struggle soon with their comparative limited personal wealth.

if you’re going to choose the mid table championship option then that’s fine but have to stop complaining about not competing over a period.   No one got mega wealthy without ‘standing on someone else’s head’.

There's a gap between your thinking and my thinking - my argument isn't anything to do with the chasing of success etc.

My PoV isn't on the basis of the have or have nots or wanting a perfect owner from the city - I am not naive, its on the view of the erosion of the clubs heritage, history and links to the community over promoting Thailand (which occurred on Sunday).

As that erosion continues, it's no longer my club I fell in love with and it's a club with a decreasing attachment to Leicester as a city - rather the city plays host to a football team every two weeks between August and May. The passing on from a Thai millionaire to another suggests the priority is keeping Thailand at the top table rather than Leicester at the top table. Hence forms the gap for a fan-led club which is a celebration of city and community.

You can respectfully be a multi-millionaire but aware of a clubs importance a link to the city and its community. Someone like Bill Foley has fostered that at three sporting clubs he's invested in (Vegas, Bournemouth & Auckland). Or the guys at Wrexham for example.

It’s amazing that two actors have gone in and have managed to do a better job of

running a football club than a ‘so called’ businessman.

Im sure Ryan and Rob do have a vested interest in their own publicity but you can’t deny they genuinely care deeply and have ingrained themselves into the community there.

And such a simple formula. They don’t know the ins and out so brought in people who do (Shaun Harvey on the football side and Fleur Robinson on the business side). Imagine if Top could let his ego allow him to do this.

People will say they have outspent their competitors but you don’t get 3 (nearly) consecutive promotions without doing so wisely. And they have absolutely exploited things commercially to bring revenue into the club. What did we do when we peaked? A trip to America and Slimani through the door….

Peter Schmeichel was on talk sport talking about Vardy and made a comment that maybe there will be more announcements about   1 or 2 and “I’m not talking about playing or coaching staff”.

Fingers and toes crossed Kasper has got wind of something

I'm seriously pissed off at how quiet this guy is. No statements, no direction, no empathy towards relegation

Least update us officially with what our financial position is. The fans have the right to know!!

He is making the Labour cabinet look competent.  Surely he has to go as part of the post mortem??

What post mortem?

We still know nothing about the last one two years ago. Clearly nothing was learnt. Still making the same mistakes just bigger.

Nothing will change until Top is gone or a major investor comes in and grabs the reins.

No one arsed about singing against him.

A lot of our fans have no idea what he does. I guess none of us do really.

’Sack the board’ feels more apt and I wonder if more people might join in with that as it’s broader? Certainly around me I hear some people join in with that, whereas there is nothing for Rudkin.
