At what point does Top wake up smell the coffee and realise that he and Rudkin are no longer strategically aligned and this is having a huge influence in our decline.

you cannot have a disconnect between the owner and the DoF they must have complete alignment in style, managerial appointments and long term strategy.

The appointment of Cooper and now favouring Dyche, clearly demonstrates Rudkin is no longer on the same page as Top and this is a huge concern, as we are now seeing this scattergun approach is impacting our playing squad and subsequently results and playing style on the pitch.

For me now is the time for Top to overrule Rudkin appoint Rohl or his favoured candidate and take the tough but correct decision to remove Rudkin from post and replace him with a DoF who is aligned with  the strategy of the owner.

This bizarre and misaligned approach is having a devastating impact and influence on player recruitment, playing style, player performance and most importantly results on the pitch.

Rudkin simply cannot stay and the last 12-18 months prove that he is now no longer aligned to the owner.

Agreed but will add.

You can't have a CEO that won't sit or talk to the DOF.

He won't see it, nothing will ever change whilst Aiyawatt is in charge of the club. He will be in charge of the club for as long as he isn't financially bound to sell. I think that there is 1 decision maker in the club, the interest levels are clearly waning. If they don't manage to paper over the cracks again this season with another lucky shot of a mangerial appointment then we are doomed to be in this division or below for the long haul. The lack of a strategic direction is obvious to even the most blinkered amongst our fanbase, however this is also coupled with a selfish, arrogant, defiance from the 'top' of the leadership to enact any tangible changes to the status quo.

We are being told we are bound by PSR restrictions, however, surely a more prudent business decision last Summer or even in January would of been to flagrantly breach PSR to stay up and take the points deduction that follows the next season, this is what Forest and Everton have been doing and ultimately getting away with.

The decision making of the clubs hierachy even at the most elementary level are shockingly bad, if RvN is going (after July 1st due to PSR), why keep mugging the fans and disrespecting RvN by playing this limbo out in public, have they never heard of gardening leave? If they intend to keep him why not come out publicly with a backing of him when they know the disgruntlement of the fans, the speculation in the press and the impact that surely must be having on RvN and the playing squad.

If King Power are still bothered about running this football club, they are doing a shambolic job throughout the footballing side of the business, but we all know that. My fear is that we can't keep lucking out on managerial appointments, at some point you have to pay the piper, pun intended. The EFL or the Premier League will punish us at some point, we should of done all we can (and risked a higher points deduction) to stay in the Premier League. That ship has now sailed obviously.

If we are waiting for Aiyawatt to wake up and smell the coffee, sack Rudkin and Whelan and sort out the footballing issues that plague the club, we will be waiting a very long time. It simply will not happen. We need to get on with supporting the club and watch through our fingers at the decline, or start taking the protests that surround the ownership more seriously if we want to see the change that is required, even if this is ultimately without success. However,  I don't think our fanbase has the ability or desire to follow that through en masse, and a tame imitation of the levels of protest that are needed will only embolden the owners.

Rudkin speaks to Top several times a day and is the only member of LCFC staff that gets one to one time with the owner.

Idea they aren’t aligned or Top is somehow misled is just an excuse not to blame Aiyawatt

Yeah - but do they speak about Football?

This is all completely obvious stuff but it makes me think that Rudkin is simply not in place at all for his own supposed acumen. It's got to be another reason.

I can just see the conversation:

Outline of purpose for the conversation, somehow leading to a conversation about horses in passing comment, Top then going off on a tangent for 20/30 minutes about how great polo is, both then realise they’ve mismanaged their diaries and schedule for the conversation to happen the next day.

Rinse and repeat.

Suspect certain players still at the club have better access to Aiyawatt than the manager.

But no reason to believe that Aiyawatt's views and Rudkin's views aren't in total alignment, they are quite possibly both in total agreement on all football matters and both totally wrong

Must be nice to do the job with no consequences

It's just beyond comprehension isn't it? You look at Top's judgement and it's not as surprising as it probably should be that KP has gone from monopoly holder to the brink is it?

Get him out now. RVN gone, now time to continue clearing out the dead wood. Rudkin has sailed this ship into oblivion. Time to kick him off and start rebuilding again.

Top has not got the guts to bin him off

Wonder what happened to the rumours that he wanted out and we had been meeting perspective DoF’s as early as January. Gone really quiet since and would seem he is as embedded as ever

He knows too much to be ever aloud out

Same with Susan

Just seen on my news feed Leicester Live quoting Richard Keys asking why Rudkin has not been sacked yet, starting to get out there now, wonder how long before Top decides Rudders is hurting his image?

We weren’t meeting other DOF’s. He had a meeting with Bristol Rovers DOF at the time about potential loan signings in January and beyond

Let’s face it the Club is rudderless and heading in the wrong direction.  How Rudkin has managed to keep his job is astonishing, all things considered.

You know, this guys love affair with little Top might mean he is untouchable. But do something about the guys around you.

For example, Glover. The man has failed 2 out of 3 windows. His “successful” ones are made up of Hermansen who Enzo knew about at Man City and Bilal who was recommended  by Leuven’s DOF. He’s picked up Souttar, Khristiansen, Skipp etc. who are contributing nothing. Two of them for 3 seasons!

How about a set piece coach. We haven’t taken a consistently decent set of corners for 5 years! That’s despite having set piece specialists like Maddison, Tielemans, Bilal and Winks in the ranks.

Fitness coach ? Psychologists ? Etc. etc. the whole system is failing.

Do something you nobhead.
