It's like Succession. There's just too much they know to be fired. So we are in paralysis.

You compare to any company of its size - it's not healthy to have the same rigid persons involved. Football club or not, there should always be some evolvement.

I’d not even thought about Whelan coming up to retirement until @Tommy G’s post.

Top will have absolutely no idea what to do

She'll likely have a 12 months notice clause, 12 months pension and plus a few other sweeteners if her service agreement is drafted favourably. So even if we did get rid it would be close to £0.5m I suspect

The very same people, in the same articles also said she attends premier league meetings as our rep and has got involved in numerous transfers. She's on the board, whereas Rudkin is not.

Also, she's the CEO. Of course, she's involved in football matters now... are those football matters picking scouts or coaches, discussing the style of play, and sorting out pre-season fixtures etc.? No, it's highly likely she also has minimal input. But there are going to be crossovers when it comes to money, she signs off the accounts, she's the one making statements on the accounts. Clearly she's going to have a large input on budgets and the like. She's our rep at premier league meetings, has always taken an active and well-respected role there (so we are told), and almost everything going on there is going to impact the football side of the club.

What's classed as football can be split down into numerous categories.

Aye big Jon Rudkin shape of incompetency why.

Rudkin promoted to CEO whilst remaining DOF makes the most sense. (in Top's head anyway I assume)

Time to loan out Rudkin. There's a club out there for sure, that would want him. Maybe not a football club...

I don't sit in the Kop so can't pretend it's something I'd be able to action personally, but what is stopping UFS/L1 etc producing a banner? Is it financial?

I'm not gonna pretend I'm schooled in how easy or difficult these things are, but we need to start somewhere in terms of getting the message out publically that the guy has got questions to answer.

I had the same thought lol.

Looking at LinkedIn we'll just promote somebody that's been at the club a long time already. The current financial director has already been at the club for close to 14 years - given we snuck through FFP regs on a loophole that's a position that should be filled by fresh eyes. Not just a incumbent employee .

Chief Executive - 14 years

Director of football - 22 years

Academy director - 22 years (same person, oops)

Head of partnerships - 20 years

Head of marketing - 19 years

Head of content - 15 years

Head of media relations - 12 yeats

Head of IT - 21 years

Ticketing Manager - 20 years

No wonder it's stale at the club, our non-footballing recruitment is just as lazy the footballing side.

Exactly this. It’s a stale organisation that has had minimal new ideas and challenges in god knows how long.

With this ownership, a group of fans holding up a banner against anyone of the King Powers will mean an attempt to instanly ban them - it would at the very least mean any sort of consent to hold up any sort of banner/tifo like they have done in the past will instantly be banned.

Its unfair to expect a group like UFS who do a lot of good to risk their position. If anything, a protest outside the ground with large numbers (whether members of UFS or not) needs to be arranged.

This but RUDKIN OUT:

I dunno, call me a frothy-mouthed disciplinarian but I was repeatedly spunking millions from my business's accounts on abject failures I'd expect to face the consequences.

But no, not at Zero Accountability FC.

This would actually be awesome. Have a guy at the end with his dick out to signify they are all dicks.

Best we can realistically hope for is a few more on air mildly critical remarks from Gary Linekar over the running of the club.

Lineker definitely knows more than he lets on, and the repeated public concerns over the club "not being well run" is telling.

"Mr. Leicester City" Jon Holmes is still his agent. They will still be very well connected especially at LCFC, and people love to talk.

SW is 61, paid a few hundred grand a year - she can more than likely retire financially already but is probbaly thinking I'll see out another 3 years of this, net myself £1m quid and call it a day. She won't need to work again and the wrong age of 60, she's have to be paid off rather than chuck her notice in. If I was her I'd be doing exactly the same thing.

This could well be bang on from what has been doing the rounds and from reliable sources.

The personal loyalty to the Svriwaddywaddys is an issue for the football club and its fans. Unlike lots of industries the CEO is completely beholden to a function outside of their remit.

This is brilliant btw. Proper pissing myself.

Wonder if he has slight hesitation in going out of the house in the mornings, fearing potential abuse..

She stepped down from her role in King Power a few years ago and isn’t inner circle anymore

She wasn’t on the pitch at Preston and the trophy lift and doesn’t sit on the front row with the family and Rudkin

(Physical proximity to the “boss” genuinely means something in an organisation like KP)
