That would the first thing I’d do. Get Vardy straight back into the side.
If possible, I’d also recall Albrighton. Albrighton is by far the player most on Vardy’s wavelength.

Personally I think they’ll all step up now. There was definitely something toxic going on at City and I’m guessing the players will probably feel relieved.

Can we recall Albrighton? He's not named in our squad so we cant play him. Does feel like a silly loan in retrospect considering the position we are in.

I still think its going to take more than 2 days to sort, but i think we will see a different Tete. He really hasn't been enjoying it. As we saw against Villa away he has a lovely first touch and getting the ball to him and Barnes quicker, and playing wing to wing as well will surely give him something to work with.

I think most players will be rejuvenated.

Having Kristiansen and Ricardo back at roughly the same time the handbrake comes off will be crucial, they're naturally more dynamic and we're not going to building up so statically short now.

Suspect Ndidi will have a monstrous game tomorrow.

Can see a few player getting the flair back to be honest, I don't think the player we are bad just been managed badly I really hope we get the old vardy back or even the old ndidi and some of the other who have been pushed back

If Ndidi steps up then we are safe, we've been far too easy to play through the middle for so long and if he gets some old form back without complicated instructions he'll be instrumental.

That being sad I am starting to fear he is too far gone.

I honestly feel like this could be Vardy's final gift to the fans. He's kept us up before and he could do it again

Go on Vards you legend, give us one last dance!

The script is written for Vards to come off the bench tomorrow night, score the winner and launch into a Fuchs-type assault on Filbert Fox …… kicking him so hard that it turns into a Zouma-type RSPCA moment …….. followed by an extensive ban that becomes a Di Canio/Mitrovic-type moment. In doing so, he misses the rest of the season, including the last winner-takes-all last match of the season, when we are relegated as we didn’t have any forwards on the bench to replace Daka, who had to go off after being blown over by a particularly strong gust of wind.

Don’t judge me. It’s a slow start to the week, okay!!!

It will be interesting to see the change, will we now stop playing it out from the back? More long balls?

Faster transitions to counter attacks.

Or after 4 years coaching will Rodgers style of play be more embedded into the players that have been here a while.

How far away is Youri from being available?

Was about 10 months ago if I'm allowed to be cynical. 🙄

we will learn a lot tomorrow evening

irrespective of the result, if the performance is as insipid as the last half dozen games without intensity and clear strong physical effort and with the players looking like they’re scared to give or receive a pass , then it doesn’t matter who comes in - we’re going down

a new coach won’t have the time to change mentality. We just have to hope that the team have been playing as they have because they simply didn’t believe in what they were being asked to do

It’s a good question. Brendan has formed a team in his image - mentally weak and refusing to take responsibility.

However, a good man-manager now can still make all the difference. We’ve seen it before, the team looked much the same when Ranieri got the sack. Never looked up for the fight. Even under Pearson in 2012/13. Things can change.

I think we’ll know the answer within the next week. If we don’t see the fight in the next 2 games - losing a poorly performing manager and (hopefully) gaining one who can motivate them, then I don’t think we’ll see it at all.

He's protecting himself for his summer move. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him again.

Dont see him like that all. Think he loves the club and will do everything to stop us being relegated before joining a European club

Our technical ability is so poor that those trying hardest to keep us up will probably ultimately be responsible for taking us down

I'd like to believe that our apparent lack of technical ability is down to lack of confidence in trying to play according to Rodgers' over-cautious instructions rather than playing their natural game.  We will see.  (Their technical ability wasn't questioned while we were playing attractive football, but the regression seems to have coincided with our more recent regressive, cautious style).
